When it comes to 5G.all these are no longer important, because MCMC wants to ensure all MNO and MVNO are to be fully captured in all coverage areas, otherwise the 5G will serve no meaning. So, everyone will be sharing the network.

MVNO like XOX only pick celcom line which is the best coverage so far. XOX is only required to do marketing and base acquisition which offers the best innovative idea and product.

I have just done the study into maxis and Digi as of latest 1st quarter 2020 result.

1st quarter

Maxis
*Post paid increased 48k users
*Prepaid decreased 334k users

Digi
*Post paid increased 29k users
*Prepaid decreased 237k users

Result recently for XOX base on 3 months (one quarter)
Postpaid increased approximately
*Post paid increased 58k users
*Prepaid increased 81k users


I think XOX is growing now

Base on the sales report, XOX has achieve higher new sign up for post paid. In the paid, post paid only contribute 15% for new sign up but now it has increaded to 45%. I think it is a good start.


Overall, XOX sign up is around over 1,100 daily new sign up.

I just work out this way

1100 new users x 30days x 12 months = 396,000 new users.

Since the increase of post paid, the cost to contribute per user approximately average RM 40 per user per month

396,000 new users x 12months x RM 40 = 190,800,000.00 New revenue.

I think XOX can hit RM 400 - 500 Million revenue for coming last quarter.



Please note that

DIGI in year 1999 only value at RM 0.06 per share (inclusive of bones issue and right issue)

DIGI in year 1999 revenue around RM 450 million also.


I think XOX is a good start to invest.

According to marketing channel, XOX managed to secure pre & post paid 40k to 60k new users per month. Post paid is heading prepaid and this never happen for the past few years.

KUALA LUMPUR: A giant telecommunications group from China is betting on Malaysia to expand its fifth generation (5G) technology and is eyeing several companies here to help build the network.

Sources said the Chinese group was investing billions of ringgit on 5G technology this year, despite the Covid-19 pandemic.

"They are seeking partners with 5G capabilities and have targeted a few companies here. They hope to start talks post-movement control order," said a source.

It is understood that the group was looking at Green Packet Bhd and XOX Bhd, which are 5G-ready.

Green Packet's shares rose to a new multiple-year high yesterday, gaining as much as 23 sen or 19.01 per cent to RM1.41- a level last seen in 2010.

XOX, which has about RM35 million cash on hand, currently offers the most competitive and innovative 4G data plan, and is focusing to build 5G infrastructure in the region.

The company's shares surged 11.11 per cent amid active trading on Friday to close at five sen, giving it a market capitalisation of RM54.62 million.

The counter increased one sen with 154 million shares traded.

Early this year, XOX partnered with Advance Tech Communication Sdn Bhd (ATC) to launch 4G and 5G smartphones, with additional satellite communication capabilities termed XPLORE.

XOX will be the first telco to market and distribute the products to its users across Southeast Asia.

Its executive director Steve Tan has said that the company aimed to provide a unified network plan by integrating XOX's prepaid plans and messaging platform with ATC's extensive satellite emergency services.

"XOX is a good target for investors. XOX is ranked fifth in the telecom sector and is the number one MVNO company in Malaysia with current customer base reaching almost three million, including prepaid and post paid mobile phone users.

"The stock is relatively very cheap. It is currently the cheapest telecom stock on the local bourse and has potential upside," the source said.

Last month, XOX inked an agreement with DGB Asia Bhd to collaborate in the deployment of up to 1,000 next generation AI vending machines.

This move is in line with XOX's strategy to focus on different silos of its business to build up its revenue streams.

An analyst who spoke on condition of anonymity said telecom stocks were expected to rally as the sector was making handsome profits amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

"Valuations of telecom stocks are becoming attractive again and the sector is expected to grow at an accelerated rate with the current shifts happening in digital landscapes such as 5G, the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence.

"If you look at Maxis, Celcom and DiGi, the stocks are all up. We can expect a new high in telecom stocks this year," he said.

This is not a buy call or intentionally to chase high, but to hold until you meet your targeted price.

What i need to explain here is as long as XOX can grow the number of subscribers it should be ok, currently we can foresee all these.

When the customer base is growing, the profit will be growing too as the customer base business like XOX can sustain some operation cost level, whatever revenue exceeds certain expenses level hence this will contribute a positive income.

At this stage, it is advisable for you to hold until the rally is final.

For those who has sold, no harm to buy back on weakness. But to speculate negative info is not a good behavior.

It is common for a person who is expert in certain thing and he himself will be very scared off in the similar thing. Well, people know reading financial report is normally for those are in finance but he is not in marketing and the person like in finance will only use the old toilet paper. When the new toilet paper is on board, they will say other different things again.

Why limhong didn't talk about bad thing when the price was floating so long at 0.03-0.035, only commented when he disposed at high price. He thought the price will crash down to 0.035 so that he can buy back, unfortunately is not.

For maxis and digi, the profit is around 25% and PER around 25 average

Let's say for XOX we only want 5% profit x RM 600 Million = RM 30Million for PER of 25 x RM 750 Million market cap


XOX now of its market cap of RM 49 Million / RM 750Million = 15.3 times

Current price 0.045 x 15.3 times = RM 0.69, After taking into consideration of XOX-PA convertion 2 to 1 will be around RM 0.345 per shares.

XOX is now expanding its customer base and it is ranking no. 5 telco company and no. 1 MVNO company in malaysia with current customers base above 2.5 - 3 million including prepaid and post paid mobile phone users.
