The investment strategy is to buy on weakness. We don't know how low a stock price can dip but bottom fishing and bargain hunting is the strategy. Don't rush into buying. We have lots of time now and until polling day. Mind u, big boys will be accumulating blue chips again when prices start falling.Who knows, mkt will fly again after GE.

Unless u have strong holding power, u may bottom fish but still risky under current situation. Tomorrow NS auto-dissolution. 22 April Selangor Auto-dissolution. Latest for national polling date is end-May. I would expect dissolution of parliament by end-April. So, now until end-April, mkt sentiment gonna be nervous. Remember that foreign funds would also take the opportunity to bargain hunt in this of mkt scenario. Hence, it's not over yet. Just be smart in judging mkt behaviour. Don't be kan cheong lor as to when will parliament be dissolved. Let it be. Mkt is also there for us to make money. Opportunity is always plentiful.

KLCI: Short term resistance at 1658-1674

Upside bias after breaking multiple breakouts above the 10-d, 20-d, 30-d, 50-d, 200-d SMAs as well as 50% FR of 1645 and 1650 yesterday. Immediate resistances are 1658 (61.8% FR) and 1664 (12 Mar high) levels, followed by more formidable target at 1674 (76.4% FR). Conversely, a breakdown below the 50% FR will reignite further pullback to 20-d SMA (1640) and 200-d SMA (1635) zones.

Even though NS state assembly will be dissolved this thurs, I personally don't think GE will be announced that soon. PM still haven't completed his rounds visiting all states.

Desmond, confirmed Negri Sembilan state assembly will be dissolved automatically mid-nite tomorrow.

Desmond, don't lor. I trade with calculated risk. Normally I bottom fish but that doesn't mean it couldn't go lower. Alam did plunge to 0.89 yesterday and I almost dump to cut loss. Luckily I hold on to it and waited for the rebound. Just luck it rebounded.

thanks bro usry...in share trading, we hope to be winners all the time but it doesn't happen that way. We may be losers too. One thing for sure, never despair in any endeavour. STock mkt investment is a calculated risk. And, never be greedy. Use TA to guide us.

I think parliament is heading for automatic disolution come end-April. The big boys know this and that's y they are confident of pushing price up and down, just to support mkt. But some people are so kan cheong as to have the election ASAP. To me it makes no different. Mkt has reacted about 2 mths already. Volume is thin, and most investors, esp retail, are on the sideline. Those who have bullet, do bargain hunting and bottom fishing. After GE13, if mkt were to fly, its difficult to get cheap price.

No pain, no gain...no risk, no gain, a calculated risk...

Chokra, u are not alone in this predicament. Minority shareholders including me do feel the same. Basically, they are the ones controlling the price at their own whims and fancies.
