When Anwar did his political rounds at Kota Damansara sometime in late February, I saw the minimum wage call of RM1,500 for the people. Just wondering what would happen to all the food prices at the food stalls n restaurants if Indons are paid a minimum wage of RM1,500....triple I guess...

MBSB is one of EPF's favorite stock. Being a major shareholder, EPF would push up the share prices of most of its stocks. Once it has done so, it would start selling from the peak. If u think u made enough, take profit. EPF can be unscrupulous when it sells.

The stock mkt is not for everyone. Just becoz some people make big money, the others will make the same. It doesn't work that way. One has to learn the basics of investment. Dealers/remisiers and investment analysts have an edge over the others becoz that's their area of expertise. Others have to learn the hard way. Don't jump into any stocks just for the same of investment. The guy who lost RM90k obviously didn't know much about equity investment.

Results  In line: FY12 PATAMI increased 23% yoy to RM102m,
making up 104% and 107% of HLIB and consensus full-year
estimates, respectively.

Highlights  FY12 Revenue increased 5% yoy due to higher utilisation of
vessels and contribution from new workboat Dayang Topez.
The 23% increase in profit was due to higher contribution
from the fatter margin marine charter business.
 The increase in profit is in line with our view that offshore
service providers are enjoying a cyclical upswing as efforts to
increase offshore O&G production intensify, on top of
ongoing maintenance of aging O&G infrastructure. In
addition the robust results underline Dayang’s strong
