The above are PER valuations using estimates after release of the 2QFY12 financial results. Giving RM3.00, RM4.00 and lastest closing price of Digi, which price is more reasonal for Digi to fall? RM3.00 or RM4.00? RM3.00 is awfully too low!!! Investors would be buying into FY13 earnings as FY12 is already coming to an end. So, my dear friends, would you buy when Digi falls to 4.00 or wait till it falls further to 3.00? Even 3.50 is more reasonable than 3.00.

Dear DaveSingh, this not personal. This is something our friends should know instead of blindly putting your desired figure of 3.00. 3.00 is of course a screaming buy, but would it ever reach 3.00?

Work out your valuation if Digi touches RM3. What's the PER at RM3?

Fund managers would definitely want to see prices fall back to their lows before the run-up early this year. Some would want to see history repeats itself...such as the Gulf War 1991 and the 1997-98 Malaysian financial crisis that saw investors reeling from huge losses in the stock mkt....so that they can make new entry to the mkt at cheap prices.

Seeing Digi down to RM3, as doomed and reiterated by DaveSingh, is like back to it level in Oct 2011. In other words, DaveSingh wants to see Digi diving down 45% from its recent peak of 5.43. Come on la DaveSingh, how did u derive that RM3? U want to see the mkt collapses to reach to your desired RM3???.....

Most telcos are currently on oversold readings after the selloff that began in the first week of Oct - Axiata (32.9), Digi (25.6), Maxis (21.9), TM (18). It's only Axiata that showed a meaningful recovery.

Axiata was down 15% from its peak of 6.83 to a low of 5.80 before rebounded. Meanwhile, TM, Digi n Maxis dropped to their recent lows of 5.38, 4.78 n 6.40, down 15.9%,12% n 9.3% respectively.

Just curious why still the strong sell call??? Probably some people not too happy to buy at current levels. To play safe ma. Who wouldn't buy if these telcos dropped more than 30% and RSI down to 0-5%??? Or 50% for the matter. Just ridiculous! I believe someone would have an hidden agenda when he loudly yells a sell call at current levels. He wants to collect at lower levels ma...

When someone strongly yells a SELL call, another party could be collecting.... DaveSingh could be collecting ma...hehehe

Perdana is taking a breather after the recent run-up. I think it's time to accumulate. Volume is low though but its time to bargain hunt at current levels.

If we look at the latest TP for Perisai today, average TP for the six research houses is 1.425, ranging from 1.20 to 1.60 (29% upside from current price of 1.10). Ya lor aminmanap1, fundamentally it's a good stock with lots of upside. Good for long term holding too. Nevertheless, if one is on contra, no harm taking profit.
