The group appears to be performing stronger beyond local markets. The current production utilisation rates hovering at c.50%, the group has plenty of room to undertake larger production volumes to support their regional sales expansion without requiring any significant capital expenses and perhaps enjoy better economies of scale in addition to maintaining thorough quality control.

Becareful~ another round of goreng coming, after ekovest, msc, cab and then gkent, nice story about holding for 10 years and sold all after a month.

From my brief observation in China white coffee market, Old Town is leader, slight in front of Aik Cheong, follow by Chek Hup, Alicafe & other brands including Nescafe.

Still have studied in depth to find out.

I don't think cafe chain can improve much financially, the key will be their FMCG segment.

For personal experience, the restaurant service is so so only. Not easy to improve too.
