I am not sure about the post split thing, but looking at the price movement of Ekovest, it's slow & solid. So I am not so worry on that.

But if it shoot up like sky rocket, then we know many kaki goreng (big or/& small) has come to play, then it will make me worry & it is likely the same old stories like others. But I believe this is not the case for Ekovest. :)

77huat77, it depends on your risk appetite. Warrant will bring double reward if you believe Ekovest will do lot more better in future.

However, it is also double edged sword where a drop in mother shares price may have double effect over warrant too.

Time will tell & Ekovest will be the new rising star this year

If forex, stock & investment provisions can be contained within the manageable level, then it will be good.

I personally believe it will be a good year for ann joo, ssteel & masteel in 2017. Since diff companies have different valuation by market, it depends on the risk & reward appetite of a person to decide what to do with the choices. I go for ssteel & 2nd for ann joo.

I may be wrong then but I am willing to take risks that I have calculated for.

If one continued to wait for spoon feed & tips and without putting time & hardworks to figure out the true situation & future prospect of Ekovest, then Ekovest is not the goreng stock that some people that have been looking for, because it will only few cents up & few cents down, not sky rocket type.

Some people are earning money while some earn nothing for whatever reasons.

Once you found it, all you need is a lot of patience and let it does its job. And it is much easier to differentiate a great business from poor ones compares to telling whether a stock is under or overvalued.

Hi undertaker, I am using their share finance facility, it was just confirmed today. It is for CIMB share margin facility internal setting.

Hi stockmanmy, I own mother share also. It was capped at RM1.30 previously, now CIMB values it at market value with finance margin 90%.

Personally I view margin facility as business arrangement for I need to reserve cash for my business. I do not encourage share margin if one used it without corresponding cash reserve for any emergency sell down.

Bear in mind, anything can happen in stock market. No many had predicted 1998 & 2008 events.

I know someone has been predicting market collapse since 2010.

Now CIMB views Ekovest is strong solid company with limited downside, hence CIMB removed the cap & give full value for share margin valuation purposes.

As such, for every warrant I hold, CIMB give me share credit finance of 70% x RM1.33 x 60% = RM0.5586.

Hi greatful, I am using share finance facility from CIMB & they have their own price valuation on certain stocks.

For example, Ekovest warrant was previously capped at RM0.59 with margin finance of 70%. CIMB valued will only give me credit limet based on 70% x RM0.59 x 60% = RM0.2478 per share

That mean I can only get finance of RM0.2478 for the current price of RM1.33.

This is to limit the risk of CIMB.

To me, RM3 for mother & RM2 for warrant is not my selling target, I will hold until it fully valued.

Whatever it is since I own both at much lower prices, I am not so worried but now count down to wait for my dividends :)

I hated private placement, I said it at Gadang & AA forums before. Reason? Unfair to existing small shareholders & small holdes can't do much but looking at the value of their shares in hand diluted for nothing.

Me too, collecting since mid of Dec 2016, stopped for 2 weeks & started again these few days & today, now ssteel has made up 20% of my total stock portfolio.

In my 2 cents opinion, warrant price is lagging behind the mother share price today, may be market has decided that way, not sure. But I personally hold more in warrant due to its long expiry date & almost 2 times gearing from its mother share price currently.
