The stretch was reported to be the longest of the 11 stretches for the Sarawak portion of the toll-free highway under phase one. The work package was one of two Pan Borneo Highway packages clinched by Samling Resources last year.

Optimus, I own MSC & now studying SSteel. May be SSteel is another good counter to look at? :)

For MSC, the coming QR will give better idea how far it can go, I hope it's good as expected.

Surprise to see you picked AEOCredit, it's my favourite stock & I have been monitoring that. But not much chance to add cheap on this.

However, I do not discourage others to participate because I can learn from all that participated the competition.

The main reason that I didn't participate stock pick 2017 is because I currently hold 3 stocks only, Ekovest is my largest invesment. I don't like to play game. I treat investment for my money seriously.

By the way, I am not aware that anyone has asked me about that question, if it did, I apologies for overlook that.

CSC steel was facing the same situation when price was around RM1.40, the substantial shareholder Gan kept selling like no tomorrow, but look at its price now, it's RM2.23 now....

He is Substantial shareholder & don't hold directorship in Ekovest. Furthermore, the 9mil shares sell was done by way of private arrangement. Nothing to worry.

I don't know how market look at it, yip, but I am still holding it as current price level is not attractive enough for me to sell. I'm not worried at current situation, price is well supported by special dividend, share split & expected better future earnings

Say for example, what if Mr Ooi decided to participate & he pick Pohuat warrant on 6/1/2016? Mr Ooi has on few months ago picked Pohuat Warrant during his sharing.

He will be under the fire again if the price of the pick used 30/12/2016.

Mr Ooi, I truly understand the reasons of your decision after seeing what was happenning throughout the whole 2016, you have my full supoort on this.

I don't know appreciate or not. I am the most chatty with more than 20,000 posts but my stock pick is suck! Very lousy and bleeding each counter. Why not just open for new comer? I don't think my weird pick can give me positive result in 2017....

Agreed, rather than allowing newly registered ID with only 1 post, the only 1 post was also the comment left at this forum to participate stock pick 2017. What a shame on those IDs.

My opinion is we include serious stock pickers only and make it a benchmark and premium place for whole Malaysia investment world!
Make it hard to get in. If you want to get in, you need to proof yourself every year via ranking! Top 20 continue, else drop.
Serious stock pickers only, not a competition for those keep creating fake IDs to participate.

This will surely be one of the most looked after (⊙‿⊙)
