CSL has informed Bursa Malaysia that some of its employees, who have been dismissed by Sakura (Fujian) Packaging & Stationery Co., Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CSL due to poor performance, have instigated other employees to go on strike and create disturbance in the vicinity of the factory. These employees have also lobbied for protection from the Labour Department.

The court case for a default of RMB1.8 million, as mentioned in your mail, was initiated by the dismissed employees and is now going through the mediation proceedings.
