Since newbiestockreturns did not answer my question, perhaps it maybe good time to invest in maybank. technical aspect in maybank look promising. MACD almost converging. After dividend announce, maybank stock plunge 4.6% but earlier this month we could see rebound back to rm 10 if the overall macro economy aspect in the world especially in the US improving. But lately US government shutdown could hinder stock market in the US but it is good news for Asian market because plunging US stock could mean growing of investment in Asian country especially Malaysia and Singapore. Overall I hope maybank stock could reach back to 10.8 if senior management of the company could employ someone that could increase efficiency of the bank management. someone that could really replace Wahid Omar.

Ok thanks for explanation vinvin. Damn what happen in Uncle Sam really affect all the world including Malaysia. I probably should hold for long term. But if rebound in short term, can anybody set what target price should be. As I know maybank stock is hold largely by institutional investor like investment bank and Perbadanan Nasional Berhad which ASB hold 20% NAV in Maybank. Probably I hope in near future government could do something to stimulus back the economy especialli in Budget 2014.
