Funny, Opec to limit production which will cause shale oil to increase production. It's a zero sum game and yet we still have all this Opec intervention talk. Opec has lost its market balancing power with shale boom. Oil balance of supply-demand has changed forever. Only high increase in demand will see prices go beyond $60.

Opec deal seems to halt a little momentum..

2.78 closing is good. I would prefer it go up slowly and build a base rather than volatile swings up and down.

I believe it has created enough of a base to challenge for the next upcycle..hopefully newsflow will be positive and helpful with AAC disposal...

if some party wants to collect AA in large quantities in a time where sentiment is low because they may feel it is an opportunity to buy in the stock, do you think they will buy in a manner of pushing the price up? Clearly they will buy gradually in a tight range over a few days.

samer, I believe this is just short-term pressure due to PSC media coverage. The selling is not too heavy though. Sentiment is slightly weak and selling isn't very strong so don't worry too much.

Coming to my average price already

Many retailers overreact yesterday to a simple asset reallocation by funds. Today shows buying interest for AA is strong as ever. No point to catch high when funds want to sell out. Yesterday was a good opportunity to buy in low.

Strong buying today. Higher volume up to now and price moving up showing that 2.70 was bottom on FF selling out.

Hahaha we are just talking about a single rate hike. So the interest rate may go up 25 basis points? Any reaction should be extremely short term. We might only see another rate hike in a year after this one. I see it as an opportunity to add so its good news for me.
