Net profit of rm37.8 which include a gain on disposal asset of rm11.3m.
With the gain on disposal, net profit is rm26.4m, slightly lower than Q1 2022.
Still respectable net earnings despite a slow economy growth in Europe.

The CEO is largest shareholder with 44% ownership of the company and is the key person that steers the company direction and subsequently affect the company fundamental.
Seems he already is a director of ETMSB before joining MI as COO.
Let the court case decide as these is quite complicated.
But, it's better to have an interim CEO appointed during this time so that the company has a CEO that can steer the company without future disruptions and distraction from lawsuits .

Do you guys find something is off about the recent Q1 2023 quarter report?
The newly added Hongkong market for mechanical assembly worth RM12.5mil
i) From Annual report 2022, SFPtech has 3 markets; Msia, US & S'pore
ii) From previous QR , also match 3 markets where the revenue comes from; Msia, US & S'pore
iii) Previous 4 quarters in 2022 for mechanical assembly recorded revenue of RM15.6 mil
iv) Previous quarter Q4 2023, mechanical assembly only recorded revenue of RM1.6 mil
Without the new Hongkong market, SFP would declare revenue for Q1 2023 of only RM22.1 mil
Without the sudden unexplained surge in mechanical assembly revenue, SFP would declare revenue for Q1 2023 of only RM8.7 mil

Time is still retaining 30% in the data centre biz with DigitalBridge.
With the RM1 bil for dividend & RM1 bil to reinvest into the biz & other data centre expansion with DigitalBridge should be able to fill up the earnings gap of only 2%-8% for FY23-FY24 according to RHB.

Just be cautious for those have taken this ride based on the tech guy eg: RM1 per share commission
Sometimes ppl are paid to do the job as he had the financial net worth to inflate and deflate share prices. He do have a good profile and thus less suspicion on him.
Fundamentally speaking, nothing good from the company in terms of future earnings and prospect. The company had been around for ages, no catalyst unless you’re speculating that they’ll receive some form of compensation from the lawsuit. Apple legal advisers are no simple office staff and many companies have tried. Refer to my earlier post for links.
Nevertheless, hopefully everyone here take cautious ya.

If what Cecile mentioned is true, then we now know the true color of Stanley and his other board of directors.
A company with lack of transparency and audit governance is bad. Their luxury lifestyles using company expenses is another RED flag.
-In her letter, Cecile detailed how these disagreements started in November 2021, a month before her father's appointment as the group's executive chairman took effect, when he stated his intention to remove her from the board following her opposition to his proposed purchase of a new aircraft for US$47.39 million (RM210.32 million). Stanley's stated intentions to remove and later re-designate me arose from the fact that I did not sign the director’s written resolution to approve the proposed acquisition of the new aircraft,” she said.
-Then in February last year, she expressed her view that the conferment of sole authority on Stanley as the single authorised person for the company's bank accounts was against the company’s financial accountability and corporate governance practices. My request that the audit committee hold a meeting and provide specific guidance was ignored.
-Cecile was then denied access to a remuneration committee meeting via a Zoom video conference in May 2022, despite being a member of the committee. Then the remuneration committee and nomination committee was suddenly merged in August 2022, while she was removed from the newly merged committee.
-She also claimed the board had tried to stop her from responding to a question posed by a shareholder during the group's annual general meeting in December last year. The shareholder had asked about the group's audited financial statements, specifically about the aircraft purchase. "The executive chairman and another member of the board initialy denied me the microphone despite my attempts to address the audience, and subsequently distracted (them) from the topic after I had transparently answered the inquiring shareholder," she said.

How much will AAX pay Capital A for the airline assets upon the restructuring in 2023?
Let's say between RM2bil(min) to RM3bil(max), 30%-50% discount from IBs valuation.
In view of their current PN17 status, bank borrowing will be difficult.
Likely private placement & rights issue will be the way to go.
Let's take the lowest valuation in view of goodwill between existing shareholders, an issuance of new 1.55bil shares at RM1.30.
Is it worth it for both Capital A and AAX shareholders?

The upcoming partial sale of AIMS unit and indicative dividend of 54 cent is quite attractive.
Though the data centre biz is growing well over the last few years but I think monetization some portion of it to reinvest in the other areas eg:5G tech and newer green data centre is attractive as well.
Understand that many minority shareholders prefer to keep AIMS at 100%, I thin the CEO knows what is best to grow Timecom better. Kudos.

Agree with Hwmatepadt8
Oppstar biz model is unique where their primary earnings are squeeze from their workforce talent.
Once they are experienced, likely they will leave for large MNC eg: Singapore where SGD is so much worth.
Unlike other types of fabless tech company like Qualcomm, NVIDIA, Broadcom, etc, these company have talent & PRODUCTS.
If Oppstar can't retain talent with higher salary, likely they won't do well.
The company perform well in 2020-2022 as most staff cannot leave the country as Msia border reopened in April 2022.
Just monitor the next few quarters to see whether their talents size grow or reduce.

Wow.
Q3 result is a disappointing.
Net profit margin dropped 20 basis points as compared with pre-ipo results
Revenue barely grow and pales in comparison with 2020 and 2021 of 81% and 72% respectively.
Net operating cashflow shrink as well as collection seems to be delayed for the previous quarter.
Not sure this will deflate the current ipo rally.
