The important thing is retent the talents. Now economy no good, maybe still can stay a while. Later economy good and big MNC want hire good talented people, how many people still want to stay? Some more if the employee already sold their holding, why want to stay? Unless all employee are real talented worker and company keep awarded good margin project.
If employee already sold their holding, what price they willing to buy back?
Agree with Hwmatepadt8 Oppstar biz model is unique where their primary earnings are squeeze from their workforce talent. Once they are experienced, likely they will leave for large MNC eg: Singapore where SGD is so much worth. Unlike other types of fabless tech company like Qualcomm, NVIDIA, Broadcom, etc, these company have talent & PRODUCTS. If Oppstar can't retain talent with higher salary, likely they won't do well. The company perform well in 2020-2022 as most staff cannot leave the country as Msia border reopened in April 2022. Just monitor the next few quarters to see whether their talents size grow or reduce. It's some in

The edge news yesterday reported there are some potential listed design house. UST Global, Infinecs system... This kind of working modal business is very competitive, not like mentioned by some research house lack of competitor to compare.
Imagine this company going to listed, how much investor will allocate their fund in IC design sector. Just my 2 cents.
got demand is got demand. but growth is not going to be huge. its service based.. unless yesterday you charge RM100k .. today you charge RM200k for the services..
one worker can work 8 hours.. unless they can up their productivity to 12 hours.. while remain at a low cost. if they add workers, also need jobs to keep coming in. revenue grows. but the percentage of profit still needs to remain the same..
because after ipo.. everything is answerable to shareholders.. give bonus la.. give dividend la. etc etc.. every shareholder wanted more. workers in the company also wanted more. the cake only 1 piece.
hextar debt more than cash. thats why: Hextar Healthcare Bhd's largest shareholder Datuk Eddie Ong Choo Meng is leaving his post as a non-independent non-executive director
