China would definitely continue to purchase crude oil from Iran as it would be cheaper.
Since it's in trade war with US, China should take this opportunity to cut all their crude purchases from US to ZERO.

To balance the crude requirement, the rest of the supply could come from Russia and Saudi.

With exception to things such as scandals, economic crisis, or change in government policy, every counter in Bursa also will have ups and down. Now that we have many external issues like trade war.

I believe that some of us here looks at fundamental and long term investment rather than day trading or short term traders.

Take a look at some counters listed in 1980s which is still around today(most are large caps which use to be small caps) after passing through many crisis in between. Not all may make it of course.
Choose wisely.

Yup fully valued.
But there's still room for growth.

Next few quarters should be interesting to watch as the new factory's starts to come in.
Also a good benchmark to gauge the global demand for these equipments.

The lens biz is still small at this moment.
New brand entering a mature market.
Limited impact on earnings.

It's difficult to short in this high crude oil market.
I think these short sellers will get burn.

I'm surprise with the pricing for Mate20 series from Huawei.

I never would thought that Huawei will join the high price segment.

Seems then, Samsung has no choice but to introduce similar range or lose out in this segment.

Agree that trade war will have effects on Inari. The company depends heavily on Broadcom which accounted to almost 50% of its total revenue.

Yesterday, CNBC quoted that Ford sales in China drop significantly in September.

There's the possibility that China will influenced the China population to buy China made products only as part of the patriotism for the republic.

This counter had reached it peak in earnings.
Take a look at the quarter to quarter earnings in 2018/2017 and compared it with 2017/2016.

As RAPID completes soon, expect a large drop(approximately 50%) in top and bottom line as most of it is derived from sub construction works which is about 50% of the total revenue based on the 12 months ended 2018 result.

Inari biz depends much of iPhone numbers.
Seems that over the last few years when Inari started to massive earnings coincides with Apple launching Iphone 5, 5s,6, 6s,7

Since then when Apple declared a drop in number from Iphone 8 onwards, Inari had not been performing well.
In order to sustain the earnings, it biz ventured into Osram's LED.

I believe that the company is struggling to meet shareholder demand for growth.

Hard to trade construction counters since the change of government.
Decision can be change 180% anytime.

Never like JPM.

The worst among the worst.

Most analyst comment bearish when market down 2-3 days straight.
Saying things like market collapsing, sign of recession, stay away frm market.


Then next week, market rebounded back, the change their comment, saying things like market rebounded, sustain rally, breaking new high, possible rally in the making.

ALL UTTERLY RUBBISH.

None have come out and give a 5-10 year forecast and fixed it till it come to pass.

That's why warren buffet holds the best method of investment.
Buy in bad times and good times. Sell when the company not growing anymore.

Not sure why so many people here looking at the IDSS.

Based on yesterday volume which is considered above average than usual, the IDSS only recorded 10mil(value) against total trading value of 100 mil.

IT'S ONLY 10% for goodness sake.

It's a growing company and the world demand for all types of electronics are also growing and getting more sophisticated.
Test equipment will definitely have to be use to meet certain benchmark and quality.
In the long run, even looking towards 30 years ahead, I believe semicon industry will still growing as technology keeps evolving better and better.

Stock price still strong.
Its a buy time.

In my opinion,
I believe in the next 5 years, Penta revenue and net profit would easily more than doubled the latest quarter result.
Already factored in the new facility in Batu Kawan assuming 90% utilisation.
Share price will be reflected accordingly.

DOn't get it , why people kept commenting US market crash and recession already here.
A correction and market crash is different.
A healthy correction is good and will keep the rally intact.

My opinion is the US overnight drop is just a correction to the past few months rally.
Nothing to worry about as by December, Dowjones should be back above the 25-week high, breaking new highs again.
