the way this dr doom is saying as if price dont mater, will sell oil at any price even 10cent....

all to be boil down to production cost cut off per barrel...
for now..
shale oil average usd75 (mainly usa)
deepwater oil around usd60 (west africa & south america)
earlier/older conventional oil < usd45 (mainly middle east & Russia)

1. so looking at the gross estimation of production cut off likely USA producer will be in trouble before others.. than africa & south america

2. looking at country budget n income...
2.1 Russia 2/3 income from oil export first n south amarica (brazil venuzela) be in trouble in any price change
2.2 africa states nigeria angola etc
2.3 middle east..
2.4 USA

but it doesnt mater trilion oil reserve still shale oil cut off is average usd75

msia lost world.....like EU states...

my 2 cent opinion.....
probably the main reason they push so hard on the oil usd60 story is to buy oil future contract cheap before opec 27 nov meeting n make big profit once the true n reality of oil market is revealed after the meeting...i.e if oil going usd60 will make alot of oil producers running at lost n causing them to close shop...once the reality kick in oil will rebound even higher... as i posted earlier with usa good economic expectation n global economic slowly rebound the possibility of oil usd200/barrel is within reach some where in future....infect the current low to me is the bottom of the next oil bull which may run from late 2015 to 2017 ????

to me skp has made a good move on current oil n gas asset purchases n that why epf n geng buying skp like no tomorrow because once opec meeting is over skp potentially will rebound strongly n hopefully i can sell skp at my TP rm3.70 by next week.....kikiki (any way it my 2 cent opinion)

my guess tar sand oil, shale oil, deepwater oil are some of the higher production cut off cost which probably involve of around 5mil barrel production per day may be disrupt if oil going to usd60...

instead my best guess probably the real reason opec want to push down oil below usd80 by flooding the oil market probably they want to chock shale oil producers which in average producing cut off cost at usd75 and dampen the Russia oil n gas industry...

may guess EPF n geng are long term player, they may be buying/collecting till next year for potential bull mkt in 2016/17 (pre pru14 rally) when oil bull mkt potential going for usd150/barrel to usd200/barrel...???may be by then skp would be around rm6 to rm8...???

my 2 cent forecast based on the PE klci components stocks...BSKL potentially be good for another 2+ weeks up cycle before the average PE reach to fair value...i.e probably klci be at around 1930 to 1970..n then just side way before bear cycle set in...in early 2015...???

my target is very much driven by skp day traded volume n price is the second in line...i.e if the half day volume is > 20mil likely i will sell all my holding...n looking at today volume potentially i will be able to clear all my holding by some where next week...? n my TP is around 3.70...

that is rule of thumb in oil industry but of course could be cheaper...depend to the development concept... it could be just simple platform, tripod, floating facilities etc... or if it is just small field could also sharing facilities with sub see completion tie in to nearby processing platform....

i always remind myself to watch out because every game has starting n ending point ...

no worry about opec meeting cause skp bought cheap oil asset around usd25/boe (boe = barrel oil equivalent) + development + production probably become around usd40/boe...so even at usd60 still making money.... so next skp will fly to the sky...

ECB EURO1 trillion bond buying was reported in CNBC few days ago....

may be 3.15 going to 3.70 within 3 weeks...

this is probably the same thing when i bought apartment in 2002 very cheap only rm76k...some said i m crazy just wast money without good reason....n now only they understand the reason why....cause now it is priced rm250k

n probably the samething now when i said my plan to sell off all my shares to take advantage on China intrest rate cut + EU bond buying targeting euro1 trilion...the reason just simple plain. ...cause global equity mkt has top to it fair value....

yes as i posted earlier skp is filling in the vacume left by majors such as exxon n others in asia region.....which is good for long term investment...even for the current deals i see skp is in rm4 range

TQ for sharing, yes the end to me is very very nearby as plainly shown by klci component stocks which most of the pe are more than 15 n for sure my game plan for now is to take advantage of current push up by China interest cut n Super Mario asset buying to clear all my holding n sideline for at least 3 to 6 months to see what will happen to the unfolding of global financial n economic events...following are some of them...

1. what will happen next to USD4.5 trillion bond bought by FED
1.1 the side effect after FED stop bond buying in October 2014
2. USA debt limit expected to come somewhere in march 2015
3. Currency war has started without saying e.g when yen move from 79 to 112 last year n now going to 120 n probably to 130 to 140 by 2015
4. high sugar indon & india stock markets...
5. EU lost world....

as what is said in the video clip "money form heaven(i.e all the QE) is part to hell".....good luck all

oil look like on the way up...skp close green n klci sikoligi is always like this once global look green it will push down few day before moving up more or less look like new zealand stock mkt but bskl a little bit worst...to is good because it open short window for buying.... n next week will start move up till year end...
