If you read carefully on the deal: Geely only take over major Lotus (51%) shares. Proton only give them 49%. Why not give them another 2 %... you'd know why. The same losers are staying in the board. Proton loss Lotus ... which's a sad things for us, but prize for Geely. If tomorrow limit up, it just matter of time before real investors cool down and think over this. Can Proton really benefit from Geely & turn around.

Base on economic artifacts i.e CPO price rises, Rubber price rises, Sugar price rices, it'd at least stay equal BUT definitely NOT dropping. For a sane financial institution, investing in fgv is the last thing they want to do, unless for political reason. The fundamental, governance of this company dosen't chg. it's good to go short if you spot some positive events coming.

QR announcement is supposed to be a good news if profitable but that was a question now how the operater want to play it.Even AirAsia with remarkable profit will still face sell down on announcement day. Unlike umwog, Dayang revenue is in better shape and also higher profit margin. It's ashamed it dosen't has big institutions backup like Armada, Umwog. With debt mature next year, they needs some sort of backing to refinance loan unless fuel price strike a return, which's very unlikely. There're no announcement since Aug, I guessed the sell down came fr some big private parties, not institutions like KWAP etc.

Some bigshots wanted to withdraw from the game ... I smell possibilities of take-over/merger in the making, given the high debt ratio Dayang is having.
