syioksyiok: Good on you. Honestly. :)
Ultimately, one is responsible for his/her own investment decision. As a participant, I appreciate your views and of course, occasional entertainment. :)

You have to buck up on your argumentative and allegation skillset to establish your presence in anywhere you want to sprout.

A hypothetical presumption cannot be assumed as an absolute and that is one important lesson I will have to give you this morning.

And if drawing reference from any articles out there, do be sure that you have reasonable understanding of the content, share concisely so that you value-add and not devalue one's worth of participation. Plug and play is not going to work, no difference to a empty tin of Milo where on the outset there's apparent filling but nothing in reality.

:)

What makes you conclude that I bought at 10 sen? If I tell you I am 'zero-cost' based, would you believe?

And did I call people to buy, or did I share my thoughts to the extent that you construe or infer that I am calling people to buy? It's not exactly healthy to be living in a world of excessive assumptions and presumptions.

Actually, nothing is absolute here and from an individual standpoint one's immediate reaction is to safeguard his/her own interest, isn't it?

Well, at least he acknowledge and sound out, rather than vaporise to nowhere and leaves the congregation guessing and wondering.

Just sharing my thoughts, no offence. We are individually responsible for our own financial interests at the end of the day. The blessing is that we do not have participants whom I label as 'counter-bashers' who 'slog' into the wee hours to infuse misleading impressions. Again, own money own decision.

Cheers.

@waihung82: If you are in their position, would you have done the same given the murky state of economy? Today, the effect of 1MDB on TNB was felt across the Causeway, when Sembcorp Industries took a hit on their share price upon announcing preliminary talks to buy 1MDB power assets. Sad but true, isnt it?

As much as the preventive intent that other newbie investors won't be conned is preached, hopefully the same apply as not an intent to con impressionable and less informed existing investors. Whatever sow will be reaped..

I have been to the national library across the causeway and I have to give credit to the comprehensive collection there...and which should help him to formulate some decent and not deceptive statements here. What is the relevance of the buyer's procurement/vendor management chain in IFCA's context?

hockhuat companies is in cost saving mode due to lacklustre in the industry.....600K for gst software?...the process in the procurement department is questionable ...where is the vendor selection process?...nonsense

Could you show us the intricacies on how IFCA did that, in relevance to the essence presented in Mr Koon's article? I presume you had done reasonable research of the article to appreciate the distinction between operating vs revaluation profits.

I am trying to relate your assertions meaningfully.

idahow69 This article by Koon Yew Yin helps explain why IFCA's balance sheet shows double increase the Accounts Receivables in one quarter (31 Mar 15 vs 31 Dec 2014).

http://klse.i3investor.com/blogs/koonyewyinblog/77821.jsp

When Property Developer cannot sell, cash inflow stuck, but cash outflow continues due to building construction must go on. Which means other suppliers like IFCA will not get payment anytime soon. Watch out for potential debt write off in the next 6-9 months.

Which means this counter is overvalued!

@abanglongPEKIDA3line:

Do you think Halim would be more inclined towards:

1. 1MDB bailout; or

2. Concentration of resources to develop his O&G business which we know publicly that the forward work plan would involve gas monetisation?

I would think that TNB position is not by much means a choice given the related party connection that you had highlighted, and which involves a party of national influence. It would be an interesting case to view on how the minority shareholders react, and of course the buyout pricing is, perhaps going to be the main spotlight item. 1)A premium to be borne by TNB? 2)Fair value? 3)Forced sale value? If you are the minority shareholder, what is your take? Naturally, from a buyer perspective, the LOWER the merrier. :)
