the unofficial estimate of group profit is already out to all shareholders of Shell Group Plc and BG in view of their decision for the BG takeover. so, it's not an open secret for some parties. and today market sentiment is bad, so big fund is taking chances to push down the price to collect. very obvious, they are throwing out small shares to push down and collect it big. don't fall into their trap.

trust me, if you all hold on and dont' sell your shares now, other big fund will start to collect it. Official result will be out in 4 Feb. Hang on there.

shell group unaudited financial results is already out. SRC is having earnings of approx. RM400mil for whole year of 2015. EPF trying to press down the price to collect more from current shareholders. Don't fall into their trap.

actually, i do not understand the reason for EPF selling their stakeholdings. If not because of them, shell share price will not drop so much today.

the news is old news and is just rumours. based on source from my fren working in shell, there is already announcement made by chairman to the staff that this are just rumours and there is no even any proposal communication from china side. i wonder why ppl sharing this news when it's near to quarter reporting.

The SRC structured review is still ongoing. The two options, mentioned by chairman in last AGM, which is sale of assets or conversion to terminal are both being actively pursued and are limited to SRC; no other parts of the Shell Malaysia business are included in the strategic review. Thus, since there is no announcement by Shell, I'm sure that this is considered a rumours. Even if there is such proposal, it's just a proposal from China side. I'm sure the major shareholder (Royal Dutch Shell) will not be so stupid to sell their shareholdings at such a discount.

yes, see if there is any annoucement from Shell. but USD 130 miil is just the bidding price from China side, not necessarily will be accepted by Malaysia side. maybe is just one of the tactic to create fear so that they can gain at low price.

USD 130 million for 100% stake? that's quite impossible, in view that Shell is already making profit in current year. Dont forget there is still 28% of stakes hold by Malaysia GLC.

it's because i've read its quarter report, my opinion of its fundamental price at most is RM6. when it goes high to RM7, that's speculative.

the reason why i said petron different from shell, is not on their nature, but is on their share price. market generally think that if petron rises, so should shell. but i'm saying is, shell share price rise is because of its own fundamental, but petron is on pure speculation. and as you said, petron business comprises of petrol stations and thus, this is unfavourable to petron.

unless US market recession, but with that, Malaysia will be hit as well.

And RM will not recover to less than 3.80 at least for 1 quarter, with weak malaysia market sentiment.

petron is totally different from shell. if you see what i've written in petron, you will see i did not encourage ppl to buy petron, at least for near future. but for Shell, I predict a good quarter and yearly result soon. And based on current situation, the oil market appeared bearish. No point storing additional crude or product. if they anticipate oil price increase, there could always have other hedging method, as stockholding cost is something they need to consider very well, especially for a big company like shell.

for me, i'm anticipating a net profit for whole year of 2015.

impairment on inventory will only be great if there is same high level of stockholding. With the crude price continuing dropping, i don't see any reason for holding as much stock at every month end. And as current malaysian's petrol pricing system (Month minus 1), this would be beneficial to Shell Refinery Malaysia as they are selling at a higher price during month, when the crude oil is lower.

i'm trying my best to help those that got burnt by touching petron and shell since last Tues. If you can hold on to this share, do not sell yet. Fundamental of Shell is around RM5. Meaning, it will not go any further down. But with good quarter reporting, it will probably touch RM6. So, no point queing to sell it now.

and due to sudden huge drop in oil price nearing to end of last month, there should be gain in refinery margin as malaysia retail oil price still haven't reacted to the drop due to m-1 pricing based on MOPS.

although this is merger of shell group, but Shell Malaysia is under the group. So, unofficial result for shell malaysia will be out no later than 27 Jan.

i would suggest you all to focus on shell and collect now. 20 Feb unofficial results will be out for all Shell Company in view of the BG acquisition. That's the reason why shell still low when petron already start moving as big fund still want to collect low. if you have the money, just collect as much as you can today.

no support from big funds. profit taking for those bought below 5.20 and panic selling for those chase high on 12 jan.

TG share price will be around RM14 level. Price of RM7 after bonus is reasonable. there is still room for price improvement in anticipating Q2 results, prolly next month.

do not buy when there is no big fund support. even new york energy sector rose ystd also cannot have positive impact, proven what i've said previously. of course Petron could be RM10 in the future, nobody can predict, but not in near future. If you have the ability to hold, just hold. do not top up if you don't have the ability, because these are the people that will make the price go below RM6.

petron value at most only worth RM6, but being speculated until RM7. cannot sustain without fund support. same goes to Shell.

i dun understand why you all think low crude oil price will not affect a refinery/oil manufacturer. when oil price drop, refinery margin will drop as well.

supermx shares price is shaky. and built on foundation of all glove counters. TG actual TP should be around RM14 with dividend and bonus issue annoucement. RM7 after bonus issue is reasonable.

supermax is still shaky even at 3.30. if today wanna sit strong at 3.40, should pray those small investor to stop queing to sell.
