yes, i personally feel that TA Securities' 28 cents' fair value for Mercury Securities share price is unrealistically low, it would easily shoot up to 70 cents at least on opening day. But that's my 2 cents' worth talking hehe

i'm in big for Mercury Securities and hopefully can get refund of partial allotment (fingers crossed) by Tuesday so that i can also bid big for Evergreen Max the pawnbrokers

kl2318 just a word of caution - gloves' ASP will crash very soon - a lot of new players from vietnam and china coming in not to mention local new players too - so do limit your exposure to gloves or cut your losses if necessary

Noted bro, we can discuss about some long-term dividend stocks in future. Generally speaking, if you time your buys correctly and buy at undervalued prices, stocks like Maybank, BAT and Tenaga are quite good for keeping as retirement nest eggs. Anyway, i wish u good luck in all your investments

tean2020, i have often thought about venturing into the USA stock market but are the remisier commissions for us foreign traders very high? But i think you are wise to limit your exposure exclusively to Malaysian stocks, especially with the political situation as they are lately.

tean2020 - Carslberg, Heim, Tenaga, Maybank, Aji, Airport, Genting, GenM, HLBank, HLCap, UtdPlt, and recently added Scientex also, to name but a few. But most of these blue chips i keep for long-term dividends. For eg, Carlsberg i bought @RM3.99 more than 15 years ago. i used to have Nestle which i bought @RM21 then sold off too early at RM56 because i needed the cash to finance my house purchase back then in 2014. How about yourself? what stocks are interesting to you now?

there are also petroleum-related stocks such as MHB which are at historical lows now and are worth looking at

well, banking stocks like Maybank are relatively cheap now so Maybank is worth looking at. Malaysia Airports (MAHB) is also very cheap now so that is worth investing in the long-run as the stock price of MAHB will definitely go up after they have found a vaccine for covid-19. Also, you can look at Genting Malaysia which is very cheap now due to covid-19. Other than that, property developers' stocks such as Mahsing, Tambun, Ecoworld, Paramon are also relatively cheap now due to the slowdown in housing/property market.
