Nvidia directly credited the purchase of Israeli company Mellanox to it's supporters and fans worldwide.....$$$$$

Everybody loves, idolises and supports Nvidia, AlTugauw. So how?

Once Mercedes, now Nvidia. Let's idolise them...

The renowned "Mercedes" brand by Daimler is named after a young Jewish girl named Mercedes Jellinek. Her father, Emil Jellinek, was a trailblazing race driver and car dealer based in the French Riviera, known for his races with Daimler cars. During that era, race drivers often adopted pseudonyms, and Jellinek chose "Monsieur Mercedes," incorporating his daughter's name. His remarkable victories under this pseudonym sparked a surge in demand for "Mercedes" cars, especially among the affluent circles of high society. Consequently, Jellinek secured the company's initial significant orders as the exclusive Daimler distributor for France, Austria-Hungary, and the U.S.

NVIDIA is also helping Israel to build a supercomputer with AI capabilities.

Will this represent a security risk & danger to Malaysia?

TNB in particular should beware & review YTL's power supply contract to avoid this hidden danger. Investors, especially govt institutional investors like KWAP & KWSP should also be aware

Fitnah, not?

The act of sewing a beloved creator's name on a sock can be seen as a form of personal expression and devotion, protected by the fundamental right to freedom of expression. In a pluralistic society, individuals should have the freedom to express their religious or spiritual beliefs in ways that are meaningful to them, as long as it does not harm others or infringe on their rights.

It's important to consider the intentions behind an act rather than solely focusing on external symbols or gestures. If the tailor's act was motivated by genuine love and reverence for their creator, it should be viewed in that context rather than as a deliberate act of disrespect.

Moral policing should be guided by principles of tolerance, understanding, and respect for individual expressions of spirituality, rather than imposing rigid interpretations that may not reflect the diverse beliefs and values within society.

General

1 month ago | Report Abuse

Funding moral police is a wasteful and counterproductive use of public funds that reflects government irresponsibility and lack of accountability. Redirecting resources towards meaningful social and economic development initiatives is essential for building a fair, inclusive, and prosperous society.

General

1 month ago | Report Abuse

While addressing moral concerns is important, the approach of moral policing can be costly and may not always yield the desired outcomes. Redirecting resources towards preventive measures, social interventions, and community empowerment initiatives can offer more sustainable and impactful solutions to moral dilemmas, without being a major drain on public funds.

Alternatives? Better governance - responsible public fund allocation?

Investing in community-based initiatives, education, mental health services, and social support networks can be more effective in promoting positive behavior change and addressing moral challenges within society.

What the public is paying for?

Excessive moral policing can erode public trust in law enforcement and government institutions. When public funds are perceived to be misused or misallocated, it can lead to skepticism, cynicism, and decreased cooperation from the public.

General

1 month ago | Report Abuse

Instead of addressing the underlying causes of moral issues, moral policing often focuses on surface-level behaviors. This approach may fail to address systemic issues and may even contribute to the perpetuation of social problems

General

1 month ago | Report Abuse

Heavy-handed moral policing can stigmatize certain groups or behaviors, leading to social division, alienation, and resentment. This can exacerbate social tensions and hinder efforts to build inclusive and cohesive communities.

General

1 month ago | Report Abuse

Moral policing can raise legal and ethical concerns, particularly regarding privacy rights, freedom of expression, and discrimination. The costs associated with potential lawsuits, legal challenges, and public backlash can further strain public finances- for example, if businesses are involved

General

The funds spent on moral policing could be used to invest in preventive measures and social interventions that address the underlying factors contributing to moral dilemmas, such as poverty, inequality, lack of education, and mental health issues.

General

1 month ago | Report Abuse

Moral policing initiatives may not always be effective in achieving their intended goals. The focus on regulating moral behavior can lead to overreach, excessive surveillance, and infringement on individual freedoms, without necessarily addressing the root causes of social issues- which often fundamentally related to economic hardship.

General

1 month ago | Report Abuse

Moral policing often requires significant financial resources to maintain personnel, infrastructure, and operations. These funds could be redirected towards more critical areas such as healthcare, education, or social welfare programs that have a tangible and positive impact on society.

But there are some laggard, KRETAM PE 12.89 but only 59.5cent which is super undervalue and CEPAT 12.26 for 78.5cent. Worth to consider since CPO is above 4100 now.

Thanks to fed Gold broke 2200 as expected.
Oil otw to 90. 100 to be seen later.
Palm oil c u at 4500 and 5000.
From the moment Fed increase rate all commodity retrace by 30 to 50%.
Palm oil also retrace from 7k+ to 3300.(50%)
Now when fed give rate cut expectation until eventual rate cut.
We will see commodity to apreciate by 20-30% depending on cuts.
For palm oil we can see range from 4k to 6k.
2024 onwards is commodity superbull year.

In "Misbelief," Dan Ariely delves into the realm of human irrationality, offering ten enlightening lessons on misbeliefs and strategies for overcoming them.

1. **Diverse Impact:** Ariely emphasizes that misbeliefs vary in their impact. While some are harmful, others can be benign or even beneficial. Recognizing this diversity is vital for navigating human thought.

2. **Emotional Roots:** Our emotions strongly influence what we believe. Emotions like fear or love can lead us to accept information that aligns with these feelings, regardless of its accuracy.

3. **Social Contagion:** Misbeliefs can spread rapidly through social networks, especially when reinforced by trusted sources. This highlights the importance of critical thinking and evaluating information.

4. **Resistance to Change:** Once entrenched, misbeliefs are challenging to change due to their integration into our identity and worldview.

5. **Awareness and Recognition:** Acknowledging misbeliefs and understanding their sources is the first step toward overcoming them.

6. **Critical Thinking:** Developing critical thinking skills is crucial for navigating information overload and discerning fact from fiction.

7. **Open-Mindedness:** Balancing skepticism with open-mindedness allows us to consider alternative perspectives and revise our beliefs when necessary.

8. **Compassionate Approach:** Addressing misbeliefs with compassion and empathy is more effective than confrontation, fostering productive dialogue and understanding.

9. **Education as a Solution:** Promoting education and critical thinking empowers individuals to combat misinformation and build a more resilient society.

10. **Complex Human Phenomenon:** Misbeliefs stem from intricate psychological and social factors, requiring nuanced strategies for effective intervention.

Through "Misbelief," Ariely not only unveils the pervasive nature of misbeliefs but also equips readers with practical insights to navigate and mitigate their impact in a complex world.
