Serba is trading roughly 45% below fair value! When will value be realised, when new placement investors sell in the short run, and short sellers have to buy back. This will happen when there ia price reaches a particular level or before results for sure.

Malaysian banks compared to their Western and developed markets are well capitalised and are generally more conservative in their investments. Western banks have rallied strongly even with rising bad debts. CIMB were unfortunate to have been hit by exposure to 2 large O&G companies in Singapore who defaulted. CIMB had significant exposure resulting in bad debt provision with little prospect for recovery. The worst is over in that respect and if anything the conservative provisioning of bad debt provision could see some reduction going forward. Time for share price to rally to 4.75-5.10 range and perhaps beyond once vaccine is distributed.

oil will see major recovery .....just like oil experts did not see negative prices back in March, they will under estimate the demand in 2021. Oil prices can easily run to before CV. Good to position your portfolio accordingly.

you can see government related investments are quite apparent, retail folks are preoccupied elsewhere. With Brent crude rising above 52, i can see Yinson benefiting from new contracts during 2021 for sure as oil producers will start investing again.

According to weekend FT, inflows into EM will accelerate during 2021 and Malaysia may benefit from this. So it is matter of positioning your asset allocation early and sticking to it.... no day trading.

of all the banks CIMB is more linked to health of Malaysian economy and politically. As economy is predicted to grow by 6.7% next year, i see CIMB recovering very well to post well into high 5 an possibly early 6 rm. I suspect 1qtr my be little challenging, but see much better results 2nd Qtr.

Price movement is being engineered quite obviously, as the main director takes his holding out, does not want to do it one go as price will collapse and he will not get the value he wants, so he drip feeds at the expense of retail investors. The deals are system controlled. Poor governance once again, in a public listed company! As a minimum the director dealing should be communicated given the materiality! in a poor governance environement, directors can buy which is transaprent and get syndicates to sell, at higher price. We know when directors buy they attract wider investment from retail customers. There is no explanation for tight hoding patter over an extended period. Simple. Nobody is saying that MYEG does not have good prospects, but it has no relationship with price movement.

This stock like some others does not trade purely on fundamentals! Fundamentally assuming Myeg gets the contract, which is highly likely and in addtion to prospects in other jursidictions make it attractive propistion. However the stock is treated by many including govt investing insitiutions use it to make money from volatility which they insitigate in the first place! Very small number of real long term investors.

very high voloumes. Insiders and interested parties know the contract status. Taking advantage of the volatility at the expense of retail investors. Big guys are manipulating this stock. Deliberately the status of the contract was left opent to interpretation! My own view on balance is that the stock price would have fallen more if the contract was lost, as it is material revenue. MYeg and Mr Wong, could easily come out and make a clear statement to the market and give clarity, but they dont as they are part of this grand game!! As i said in developed markets with stringent market behaviour and regulatory oversight such incidents would warrant investigation.
