Local Institution also net bought 42m

Local Retail net sold 157m

....haha one local retail sold to 2 big funds :p

Previously, I don't share this kind of info here, bcos sometimes I am still doing DIY DRP....but now price is too high for me to collect anymore, so don't mind to share the positives ...haha :)

EPF has been trading and taking profit on Maybank, YTD share price up 10% (ex dividend)

EPF has been supporting/net buy PBB, YTD price still down.

If the share price performance is not doing well, support from EPF is not enuf to push up the price.

Do your home work before commenting it's all due to local fund support.

If anyone is thinking that the local fund esp EPF is pushing up Maybank to support the index, then please do your home work.

At 9.70, plus recent dividend it's above 10 ringgit.
I am also tempted to take profits....
....but for retirement fund, if you sell then where do you park?
....and for retirement fund, current price does not matter, what matters is the dividend yield and the forward fundamental of the company.....so no sell....will bargain at lower price :)

After ex date, it traded in a narrow range of 9.52 to 9.75.
At 9.70 on Friday, it was near recent high, so am not surprised many took profits....esp during current weak market.
I am looking to slowly add starting around 9.50 level..
....short term might have pain, but confident long term gain :)

Yes, CIMB is FF darling, that's why it's volatile....down fast (like during covid) and up as fast.
MBB attracts more long term FF, that's why it's slow but not volatile.

FF also got long term and short term speculative fund.

Foreign shareholding of RHB has dropped from a high of 25.65% in 2020 to latest 15.41%

while MBB has been steady and current 20.11% is 5 years high

...may be that explains the share price performance.

Yes RHB "looks" very attractive....but it has look so for the past 1 to 2 years ....and it remains looking so.....haha
