LOL.... people that desperate to buy have very low target price. Why bother that lower price if you believe the future is good for Padini. If you not believe the company will do good then even 50 cents don't even use your money to buy. Just my two cents.

shidayea - you need to make the call. Need to use the money for critical stuff then sell for sure. If not urgently need money just park there. The drop believe from those people that buy earlier when it up before the consolidtion and now don't want to wait or either don't trust the top management. It could be they know the insider news as well.

Yes, buying this counter at this time mainly of the trust to the top management capability to acquire or secure a new business model. If don't trust the top management better stay away else you keep on thinking and afraid of what other say which will definitely impact your life.

Wait until they get the business is too late per said. Don't wait for that then consider taking risk as well. So the final decision still your call.

Also it may end up not merge or buying after knowing the ROI not that high. If that happen then they waste the money and time as well. tc88 - I believe you BUT just on fair side not only Padini actually any other shop the same including restaurant not many people. But this should not last long after a while people get use to it (GST) then they will come back and start buying and spending.

Yes. They need a minimum profit in order to pay dividend. But base on their profit now. Believe will be able to pay dividends for next couple of years. Assuming the profit still go down year over year.

tanbb - if you not urgently use the money then just park here first. Because....
1. You immediate making lost if you sell now. Well, if you sell later may even lost more if thing not go as expected. But you need to know the management and what their style.
2. See what happen after consolidation. But that need to wait for quite some time, looking into great business and ideas to buy a company not an easy task. Really need a lot of up front work and etc. Also they may still give dividend.

But if you need the money for something else, may be identify another potential stock that can help making money in a month or two then you can cash out first and invest there. In short use your money wisely and make even more money from what you have now.

ampabella - that right..... for those short term player, there no longer a playground for them to play the counter once they combine 5 to 1. This way many of the contra or short term play will be out of topic. I personally believe after they combine 5 to 1 in next couple of months they will try to announce the acquisition (if they able to identify the good one). If that happen then the stock price will definitely move up further even after combine. Just my 2 cents please use this at your own risk.

hi TonsilBasher - I still here. Holding couple of counter for years. This is one of it. Let see if the share price can go to the level I mention in my 14/3/2015 comment :-) Wish it will not wait till the dividend to reach there.... for the next couple of month the quarterly report should still look good as the currency (will not go down much in short term) and other material cost (will not go up in short term.) That can bring good financial report and positive profit and revenue in next couple of months. Again I could be wrong and use this as references.

If got bullet can accumulate more for long term. At this price it definitely not high but not the lowest of course.

As mention this stock really interesting. Have it way on price movement. Does not really care on news and market sentiment. That my personal observation :-)

If have holding power then can buy and hold now. Another 3 months announce the dividend assuming the price will go up.... at the current price should get 1.38% dividend. If the report are good then price should move quite well. My estimate the price should around 5.75 on conservative side or higher. Unless unexpected thing pop up along the way.

As far as the consolidation of their share. I'm not sure that the right move with current situation. One hand, it definitely good as it protect the real investor as the price up not easy people can manipulate the share. That mean the share price should be more stable.

But without the core biz yet does not see the value of doing that. Well I could be wrong and let user this opportunity to learn from JobStreet to management decision.

The overhead for JobStreet is very low after sell the core biz to Seek Asia. Therefore with the auto generated income from 104 Corp, rental of Wisma JobStreet building from Seek Asia and 1010 dividends are more than enough to cover all their headcount expenses. Therefore still consider very low risk as long as they able to identify and announce their next core biz before mid next year. Agree with nnmm that the NTA could easily surplus 0.5 when they really revisit and recalculate all their asset value. But I do hope they don't do it now first until they get their next core biz.

Agree. For fast cash this not the counter. You can try but may also stuck for long in order for you to get what you want in return.
