Most of the time share buy back is good thing but it also depend. It will help the EPS and might also help move the price (should not be much) unless some great news.

So far so good at least we can see the after special dividend the stock price at least 0.08 :-)

2.7 - 2.62 = 0.08 (well this is just base on very simple math) But I believe should worth more than this for sure, just need to wait and still thinking the risk always there just that its minimal.

If the stock price still move next week and so then quite confirm the deal is closer..... Stay tuned.

Mark Chang will not do that as it will damage his reputation and I don't think people will invest in anything that he is involve or into in future.

Not bad counter with the asset and business they have. I just started to collect this counter. Bit by bit hope to collect enough before it start move.

shinado - don't think they will close shop and continue to be PN17...... they probably already looking for opportunity and new business now. Just don't know what it that. As someone mention, they still have other asset and investment. If they lock down and interested in some business or want to buy a potential company, they can sell their asset or investment or even loan from bank to acquire new business and start over.... again no one know what they are looking at now. This is interesting part where many are curious and risk is always there.

value_man - the concern is how much more we can make after the special dividend as we still holding the share :-) if 0.30 then for the 10,000 shares you are getting RM3K then it a good profit even you don't sell it.

Quite normal. They doing this on regular basis. Buy low and sell high. They have the money and holding power. Many investor don't have both :-)

Also they still have asset and other investment money which they can use as well. Plus they management will not just sit there. They should already start looking for other opportunity and business to work on. In short they can do lot more. Who know they will look into oil & gas later? aikwais - don't really understand your question and concern. But in general depend what the price you purchase. If you purchase that earlier then with lower price then no paper lost. For example if you purchase at 2.50 and with current price no paper loss but when the deal sign off then you guaranteed get 2.62 base on the announcement and calculation. This is why some folks here call buy and and the stock is free.

The more interesting part as I keep on mention. What happen to the price of this stock after the special dividend. If it come to 25 cents. Then that will be the bonus :-) of course the more value the better. I wish it 31 cents as some one here mention base on their calculation.

In short you are temporary park the money there and get back the dividend which is more then the price you purchase (depend on what price you purchase) when if your purchase price is more then 2.62 it does not mean you loss money. It have to be depend on what the price after that :-)

In short, if the deal go through then the special dividend should give 2.62k per 1000 shares. Therefore if you purchase the stock now then quite safe.

What happen the special dividend being give out? What the Jobst price? I guess that will be rectify later. For whatever reason Jobst should worth something base on their asset like building, investment in oversea like Taiwan and etc..... Believe someone did some sharing before and should worth between 0.25 to 0.39 depend in how the calculate and also depend on the share price of the company they are investing too.

The warrant went up quite a lot lately. Not healthy & over goreng it. The price need to adjust or consort date to certain fair value. That the only reason of cause I still took good of MFLour but people just too optimistic & over react to warrant.

Again I could be wrong & too Sensitive but better play safe therefore I converted my warrant to mother until the warrant price adjust to reasonable price then I will switch again.

Look like it time for me to collect some. Hope won't move so fast especially before my money come.

What ever they plan to acquire for sure they have the reason behind it. Just depend if it rational or not. Also the price is reasonal or not. Let see what they will come back after Bursa approved it.

Abudance-you can check those information on bursa or through your trading tool. If I recall correctly the conversion rate should be 2.06 which is the closing price on Friday. So you decide if it still cheap to get in.

Mum should go further while son need to rest or in down to balance the gap of converted rate.

Two more weeks to go. Waiting to see how much will be in my account later even though knowing up front what going to be the dividend but still feel excited :-)
