calvin has run to POS already!? He promoting at there leh
2017-04-04 14:06 | Report Abuse
From Calvin,
So today POS is Rm4.70 while DRB is only Rm1.39
These are the percentages:
for POS to Rise from Rm4.70 to Rm10.00 = 112%
for DRB to rise from Rm1.39 to Rm5.00 = 259%
So by percentage DRB is 259% while POS is 117&
So DRB will perform better by 121% more than POS.
I think the bottom line for DRB looks more attractive to Calvin than POS.

Its share price spike up again recently due to its “big profit” of RM80.3m in the recent quarter. You know what? RM11m is “Unrealized foreign exchange gain”, and RM72.8m in “Taxation” make up the illusionary “profit”.....http://klse.i3investor.com/blogs/kcchongnz/111500.jsp
Again, http://klse.i3investor.com/blogs/kcchongnz/111500.jsp
from sifu kcchongnz,
"FA practitioner, with business sense, would never invest based on hopes, hypes, rumours and fades. He would never invest in a company like Hibiscus; hope of the opportunity to strike oil big while other bigger international companies are denied of that opportunity. Shareholders of Hibiscus who have bought the share at its peak at RM2.70 less than three years ago would have lost their pants and underwear when its share price dropped to 16 sen at the beginning of this year.

A FA practitioner would understand what those “profits” are and would never have chased those stocks from 16 sen to 31 sen now. Only those with no cow sense will."

http://www.theedgemarkets.com/my/article/rubber-glove-makers-urge-bnm-reduce-75-export-proceed-conversion
KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 5): The Malaysian Rubber Glove Manufacturers Association (MARGMA) is calling on Bank Negara Malaysia to reduce the quantum of export proceeds it is requiring exporters to convert to ringgit from 75% to 50%, specially for the rubber glove industry.
It said this in a statement today calling for the central bank to review its new policy requiring exporters to convert their foreign currency proceeds to ringgit, saying such a move will have a detrimental impact on the rubber glove industry.
The central bank’s new policy means that it is now incumbent upon manufacturers to immediately convert three quarters of any foreign currency they receive to ringgit, said MARGMA president Denis Low Jau Foo.
This, he said, would affect the natural hedge that rubber glove manufacturers have always had when they used the US dollars they retained from their export proceeds to purchase raw materials.
“Most local manufacturers and exporters have foreign currency accounts to better manage the spikes and volatility of foreign exchange rates.
“The rubber glove industry has always used the US dollar as a natural hedge to cushion their costings and pricing since 50-55% of the foreign currency will be used to offset the difference in purchasing raw materials such as synthetic and natural rubber latex, as well as chemicals required for rubber glove production.
“Without this natural hedging, the industry will be placed in a very difficult position as they will be forced to do a double-conversion on the currency — from US dollar to ringgit and then from ringgit back to US dollar for all payments,” said Low.
As such, he said MARGMA is hoping that the 75% direct conversion policy be reduced to 50% for the rubber glove export industry, which will be “more manageable”.
“We seek an exemption on this new policy in order for the industry to stay competitive in global business.
“We hope Bank Negara will be open to a dialogue to discuss this matter in a more comprehensive manner as we are engaging both Malaysian Rubber Export Promotion Council (MREPC) and Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) on this matter concerning all exporters especially those in the rubber glove industry,” said Low.
Low said MARGMA is keen to better understand the idea and workings behind this move by the central bank so it can be “supportive of a reasonable policy that is workable and conducive for both the central bank and exporters”.
“We hope Bank Negara will seriously consider the implications of this policy on our industry and all major exporters affected by this new ruling,” he added.
According to MARGMA, export revenue from the rubber glove industry for 2016 is projected to reach RM14.3 billion; the industry contributes 1.13% to Malaysia’s gross domestic product or GDP.
