Saw some heated discussion here. My 2 cents

- As 'Lam Ah' highlighted, all major players in town including Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Cartoon Network had banned the use of AI for production as AI needs to be "trained" with their IP rights. Doing so inherently exposing risks of teaching AI to create another competition for themselves.

- FYE23 not exactly the "best" figure for IPO. Look at prospectus page 243, as the current FY incurred RM1.8 million in professional fee, with comparison of RM0.5 million in FY22, conservatively speaking, their PBT could increase by RM1.3 million if not for the professional fees.

- In this industry, creative (IP owner) and production is very clear cut against each other. This is like developer and contractors kind of relationship. Yes, AI can simplify the skeleton drawing (i.e. frames) but to completely replace animation studios? It's like saying AI will replace lawyers completely.

Just remembered this shitty company out of the blue and found out that con artist Liew has already left after robbing shareholders. His legacy? Two rights issue, multiple changes in auditors and a 90% drop in share price since his appointment, I suspect the BOD is also in it as well.

Decided to take a look at their website and it still listed con artist Liew as the executive chairman when it has already been 6 damn months since he have left lol. Since their goal is to con investors, they need to at least put the bare minimum effort. At least update the damn website la, so called IOT company that uses wix lol

Look at the announcement properly, it's a change of hand, not outright disposal.

Perhaps there are other extrusion player in the market as well, PA is performing very well.

The company has been underwhelming with their low utilisation of solar panel frame extrusion facilities.

What gives?

Probably overextended.

I don't think the limit up momentum will continue.

What's so special about SSB8?

That being said, this company really has potential due to the following reasons:-

1. Kenanga is a good sponsor;
2. The business model of the company is scarce in Bursa Malaysia; and
3. The company had high growth and strong margins.

Digitalisation is a must.. This is an e-invoicing themed stock.

Yes. But why has the company stayed quiet so far?

What is the underlying reason the company not able to provide substantial profits despite gold price hike?

Very interesting business. Forecasted with 30% growth FY25/26?

Looking good now, retracted from high levels.

After their IPO, Edelteq's performance has been relatively subpar. The company did mention to venture deeper into semiconductor tools refurbishment business but there are no proper business updates.

0.2m PAT? Stay away.

I dont think their IPO price and date is out.

Just stay away from conman company.
