9-month net profit is already RM686 million. Final qtr shld be able to match 3rd qtr profit or better. Hence, RM900 milion net profit for the yr within range. Hence,their declared 50% div payout should come to abt RM450 million. At current prices or if it drfit even lower, it quite attractive. It should now be a buying opportunity and ride on the fundamentals.

Has Wahid actually misjudged in his attempt to build greater value instead destroyed them. Based on the market response to-date, original shareholders of Sime Darby have since lost billions in aggregate in mkt capitalization. But is this an opportunity and live on other prople's fear?

The stock is fast becoming a penny stock with almost zero value while its founders are finding every means posible to make an exit at the expense of miinority shareholders. Its so glaring with the Co. making all sort of misleading announcements. Clearly exhibiting its desperation.

Seldom we have a mid-cap stock with broad institutional following. Fund mgrs are curently adjusting their portfolio for 2018 and Serba is clearly on thier radar with good upside potential. What is exciting, Serba is both a growth stock while at the same time gives constant stream of dividend income quarterly. As the continue to grow n expand, the prospect for reserve capitalization is rather imminent to reflect the scale of its business ooerations. I wld think a 1:2 bonus may not be impossible in the near to medium term.

They will hv ample reserves to do so

Apply PE of 15, the valuation is RM3.60. Imagine if you were to use forward earnings.

The Ringgit strength is making Serba a darling of foreign investors.

UOB's target of RM4.00 is within a reasonable PE range.

The bull is on a rampage

Serba is also in the radar of foreign investors. DBS for instance has coverage on the stock.

You can use forward earnings in this case.

Anyone knows what wld be the industry PE for companies with activities such as Serba? Its important to gauge its fair value. Even PE in regional bourse could help us gauge its valiation. Im more inclined for the institutional investors to use 17-20 times range for such an industry. That wld mean Serba's reasonable valuation shld be in the range of RM4.25-RM5.00. A more conservative range of 15 times shld give it a valuation of RM3.75.
