Lets face it guys. EPF which currently still holds approx 400 millon shares is adjusting their investment portfolio. With no direct buyers in sight, they’re dumping it in the open market. Dont know what their cut loss policy is but EPF is certainly losing big time here and they seem to be willing to take that loss. But here is the question. If they go one dumping at this rate with no major buyer in sight, then 40 sen or lower is not impossible anymore.

Undervalued still with cum dividend of 23 sen. To the IPO investors, jangan merajuk, average down while you still can and enjoy the bull ride though will be bumpy along the way.

I truely believe that what LCT badly needs currently is improved investor relations via enhance transparency and investor/shareholder engagement. In the West, shareholder engagement is an investment strategy in itself by big fund mgrs and is part of their Sustainable and Responsible Investment portfolio strategy. They could start by establishing an Investor Relation Unit within LCT to better communicate with all relevant stakeholders.

The announcement eliminate the uncertainty of iinput supply over the next 3 yrs. investors generally luv certainty.

I can still remember Dato' Karim then interview w BFM radio. He justified the IPO pricing rationale then by saying that Serba will need the support of its "shareholders" in the future. Hmmm...private placement investors here may so not necessarily mean "shareholders".

Private placement is wealth creation meant for cronies. Its disproportionate and its so non-transparent. Its like creating wealth for the few and diluting existing s/holders interests. Knowing the potential of Serba, why should these crony investors be given the privilege with discount to current market price? Speed in raising money cam always be addressed through other means im my view. The term "in the best interest" here is a little bit dodgy.

Not a good corrporate governance practices, i'd say, regardless of the intention and the speed,, only crony investors get to to buy and all others shareholders holdings will be diluted. Dont tell me KWAP will be the investor....

And that is why MRCB's partnership is crucial to Gamuda. MRCB will have the EPF balance sheet to leverage on becoz this will be a turnkey project this time. Gamuda has the engineering capability and MRCB will provide the financial muscle (via EPF).
