chooheng they upgrade on paper; speed of internet almost the same. last time 100Mbps RM149 download speed test 42Mbps, now say 500Mbps RM139 speed test still 42Mbps. like that i think Time revenue and operating cost won't affected much and in fact might lure more customers. shld accumulate when price low

NO!

TM is a state-owned company which means their money come from the state which mean comes from you and me the tax payer! They are owned by Khazanah 26%, EPF 16%, Amanah Saham Bumiputera 11%, and others. TM is formed from the state money, and it is rewarded with the monopoly of the country last mile network so it has all the comfortable room to grow their business for all these years. It suppose to give benefit to the Malaysian people, not to rip money from us while their CEO is getting a skyhigh monthly salary with the business monopoly they are enjoying. Not only that, in year 2007, when the HSBB(High Speed Broadband project) kick started (which last for 10 years costing RM 15 billion), the government use our hard earned money to pay for 30% of the last mile fibre-optic network! So please don't say TM is doing charity work here, they are using your money to lay the cable and yet they are charging us with ridiculous pricing. And in year 2015, the HSBB 2 started, government used our money of RM 500 million to pay for the bill, and another RM600 million to pay for the SUBB (Sub-Urban Broadband Project). No way should we allow monopoly! TM = Raja! Now Raja Dinosaur! Kakitangan memang ramai, but no skills no technology. Just another gomen punya monopoli money making machine.

Telco claimed no infrastructure. TM minta more time. ( More revenue la!) Thing is, TM has most lines! Nationwide. Have enough to lease to Time, Maxis etc, but can’t upgrade their own copper cable to fibre ( to enable turbo). If can’t TURBO us, why janji gobind?!! Cakap Kosong Je! Only know how to ampu menteri!

TM all packages will down 25% by year end true? How abt RM 129 100 Mbps unlimited will it down 25% as well?

Cannot simply sign up also cos telco everywhere need us sign 2 yrs contract. And gobind says price of all telco will go down at least 25% by year end!

Maxis has coverage. But no fibre infrastructure to upgrade us. Time will come my area with fibre so that we can enjoy min 100mbps. So we hv to wait!

Maxis also don’t hv fibre here. That’s why I still sangkut with TM. Felt conned every month they charge me RM200+ when as new TM subscriber I only need to pay RM79 for same 30mbps!!!

Anyway, I’ve taken time dot com survey. They will consider coming my area soon!

Funny thing is TMpoints say upgrade they CAN do! But downgrade CANNOT! Since my area only can receive 30mbps, Tm also don’t allow me upgrade to their 100mbps which is also much lower in price compare to my old 30mbps package! What type of crazy pricing is TM practising???
