Read in HK thread people will chase HK up. Meaning more gap(gain) for CIMB. Fair value HK=(1735-1589)/666=0.22sen now difference 24sen.

I bought Suncon because it is cheaper(in share price) than Sunreit and Sunway both also I owned before.

I believe AA share price follow M'sia stock market(CI) than DJ alone. Last week when CI drop near 1500 AA also drop below 80sen. Now seem stabilise. If tonight US employment data less than favourable there is chance for AA to move above RM 1.

Yesterday Dow Jones down over 400 points so today CIMB price down is expected. Today DJ up 3 digits so CIMB to turn green tomorrow?

Good buy now 3sen dividend next week. DY 10.28% one of the highest in Bursa. No contra recommended.

thradsah CIMB profit from PW issue meaning more profit to them so share price(eventually) should rise.

When HK settlement date next year say index close at 1590 like today. So CIMB will pay (1735-1590)/666=22sen to those buying PW today. The different is gain to CIMB.

PW(eg HK) issued by CIMB at 15sen. Now price has tripled.

@confuse - if they buy the put why should cimb benefit?

Base on my excel simulation those buying HK at 46sen must hope CI to drop to 1429 next 5 mths. Good luck to AJ and FM die-hard followers.

Unlike other stocks which can also drop HK got expiry date ie 29th Jan 2016. So if index does not drop below 1450 points next 5 months, those HK buyers will be trouble.

This is what FM said yesterday. Why today he sell before HK hitting 60sen?

EPF buying show AA is undervalued now. Don't buy AA if you don't have enough money as what Skagen purchase show. You will be victim of margin sell off.

EPF don't buy HK but got buy index-linked counters. Sure HK rise can sustain? Look like Bersih and Dow fall yesterday has no effect on M'sian stock market as today market show.

Those buying HK now is betting CI to drop below 1450 next 5 mths. Can it drop that low? When CI drop to 270 in 1998 how much was house price in M'sia, a piece of kuih, a plate of chicken rice, char koey teow, etc. Does house price or price of food drop recently when our stock market drop?

One of those O&G counters with outstanding result in latest QR report. EPS 4.98sen or annualized 19.92sen meaning PE only 5 times at RM 1.01.

If conservatively Xinghe total 2015 EPS is 3 sen(meaning next 2 qtr EPS 0.8sen or avg 0.4sen per qtr), now Xinghe PE is only 2. If fair PE 5 TP is 15sen, PE 10 TP is 30sen. If follow dividend policy 15% DPS for 2016 is 0.45sen or DY 7.5% at 6sen.

Put only is good during market downturn(like insurance). Green market(like nowadays) is bad for put. Expiry date for HK is 29th Jan 2016, so if CI cannot drop to 1450 next 5 months meaning close shop for those buying HK above 41 sen.

HK exercise price = 1735
Exercise ratio = 666
Fair value = (1735 - 1602)/666
= 20sen.
