No dividend has been declared by the Board for the financial period ended 30 September 2013 (30 September 2012:Nil).

Base on Annual Report 2012, 77% of PW shares is owned by top 30 shareholders meaning the stock is tightly owned. Perhaps PW should consider giving bonus or free warrant to improve liquidity to attract more buyers beside giving dividend.

Agreed with n00bpelabur on your view coming CNY will make demand for chicken to increase. I like PW over other poultry stocks below RM1(eg CCK, Farmbes, TeoSeng, CAB, TPC, DBE) due to PW give quite attractive dividend. The famous poultry stock I owned before is KFC but since they have been privatised, I choose PW although it is not as well known. Although some forumers don't like PW because of high debt I think it is not bad as the debt is used for owning land which has increased sharply over the years as can be seen from the reported NTA.

Look like Parkson has bottomed out. Market down Parkson still up 5sen.

Overall market is bad not only PW. Until PW report quarterly loss only I will be worried. Last 3 or 4 quarters still make profit. As demand for poultry likely to be stable I forecast PW can still make profit.

Major shareholder is still not selling despite buying at very low price. Hence not overpriced.

TP RM1-RM1.20 for PE10 to 12. Estimated 2013 EPS 10sen, forecast PE8 at current price, NTA 3.53, DY 5.95%. If there is land sale in future EPS will further increase.

4 more tradings days to get PW 5sen dividend and end 2013. PW has yet to sell any piece of land to give dividend. Imagine the amount of dividend they can give if finally sold hundred of acres of land they possess. Share price only a quarter of NTA still very cheap. Mari mari siapa cepat dia cepat.

Star won't give less dividend as MCA need the money to spend for their members. Expect around 15 sen dividend next year.

Among the stocks which announce dividend recently in i3, PW is among the highest dividend yield. Eg PW DY is 5.7% vs Pohkong 3%, Kobay 2.6%, Hightec 1.4%, etc.

Down mean good to buy. DY should be above 5%(assuming final dividend 3sen or base on last 3years pattern) or more than FD rate. Media stock should continue to do well next year.

Andygan, thanks for recommending Plabs. I check quarterly report profit is down YOY and last year dividend declared in March. Now a bit early to enter unless can get below 14sen. Despite breaking new high for this year PW is still trading at attractive DY of 5.65%. Can touch RM 1 by 31st Dec?

Buying interest will come back once ex-date for dividend is confirmed. So far major shareholder Dato Siah Gim Eng has not disposed any shares.
