PW is old company and has been around for many years, won't close down so fast. Penang second bridge will open next month thereby will cause Penang mainland land price to increase as many will like to stay in Penang mainland where land is much cheaper compare to Penang island. While MP Corp cannot generate income on their land if no development PW has its chicken to provide stable income and can sell land time to time. PW has declared dividend in the past eg 4sen in 2011 unlike PM Corp fail to do as can be seen from attached website. If compare latest quarterly report PW is doing better than PM Corp. If can sell land at only 50% of its market price is it hard to find buyers? Eg PW NTA 3.51 only sell at 1.5 for example?

Andygan, I agree with you. Time to time this company even declare generous dividend like 4 sen in 2011 which mean over 6% DY at present price. The possibilities of declaring dividend this or next year is quite high as half year PW already earn EPS 5.11 sen. This company can earn money from 2 business ie poultry which it presently does and also from selling land which has appreciated substantially over time.

No dividend announced so far, even PNB also sell.

Datuk Wong dispose warrant whose exercise price is RM0.22 not mother share.

As Malaysian love to punt warrant, getting free warrants instead of higher dividend in every 2 years is not a bad choice for investment.

KNM also more expensive but no dividend. Those subscribe to right issue can get bonus and free warrant shares. Why major shareholder want to subscribe right issue?

XDL is not entirely bad. Every quarter make profit and every year give dividend except 2012. Latest corporate exercise announced will see major shareholder Ding PengPeng increase his stake from 50% to 61% if no one subscribe to upcoming right issue.

Why XDL is still cheap? Even Sona-W more expensive. Buying W cannot get dividend and when expire time worthless.
