If we look at the increase in 10% casino tax, the increase is not simply just10%,

it is actually

(10% / 25%) x 100% = 40%

For example, we assume RM8,000mil gross revenue,

before new tax, GenM pays RM2,000mil
after new tax, GenM pays RM2,800mil

Increase in casino tax is actually ( 800mil / 2,000mil) x 100% = 40%

It is very very terrible.

@kancs3118, it depends on Top International Engineering's commitment to the job. Top accepted the contract meant they agreed to the price, completion period and all the terms and conditions in the contract.

No worries, wait for their good news. They will discuss on the contract. Gamuda will definitely remain as the contractor.

It is stupid for Gamuda to write the open letter. Don't expect the government to bend themselves. It is better to knock their doors again and sort things out.

Poor management. They awarded the job to a non-performing main contractor. Very funny, why award the project to an inexperienced and financially weak contractor? Who made the decision?
