Lafarge operations in Malaysia and maybe even worldwide eventhough they say they value biodiversity globally. They are trying trying to ignore one of their areas that have flora and fauna that is specific to that area. Some media have covered stories like the chinese newspapers and english. Come on Lafarge, please live up to your values as I don't see you as being ethical. Hope shareholders take note of this.

AA has had more low cost carriers competing locally and internationally. It has been maintaining it's profitability. None have gotten to a level that AA has and storms will come and go. So new entry and sustaining an airline business takes lots of $$ and good management so competition is good...the most efficient win.

I am prepared to hold O&G counters as energy is always in demand so it is a matter of time before we see some clearer blue skies :)

As a new babe, which analysts are more reliable and which are less? The Kenanga report didn't help price obviously. I am holding Barakah and it looks like O&G will be pretty gloomy for most of the year. Should lower average if it goes below 0.8x.

We recently met with the management of BARAKAH and came away with a clearer picture of the industry dynamic and the company’s prospects. We believe that the company may secure slightly more pipeline servicing/replacement contracts (versus our previous less optimistic assumptions). In view of the more optimistic assumptions, we have adjusted our FY15E and FY16E earnings forecasts by 20% and 7% to RM81.0m and RM90.1m (as opposed to RM67.2m and RM84.0m previously) on the back of higher pipeline operations performed (100% for both FY15 & FY16 recognition versus 45% & 80% previously). Post our net profit upgrades and rolling forward valuation to CY16 EPS of 10.4 sen with target PER maintained at 10x, the new TP is RM1.04 (from RM0.78 previously). The higher target price prompts a rating upgrade to MARKET PERFORM (from UNDERPERFORM).

hmmm, then should buy more to lower average? My EPF comment it is that 50%+ will not live above poverty line that's bad. When we want to say we are developed nation and what what what but many are left behind :( nation's wealth should be shared.

Yes EPF dividend recently is good but for a while the dividend is soso that many withdraw to invest for better returns. Sadly our price inflation out does the returns. At average 20% average inflation unless we are very good investors or biz people, it is hard to beat the inflation just keeping up is good enough. I am concerned coz when we retire how? Today EPF said those retiring this year at 55y/o about 50% of the members do not have enough to bring them to old age. Some working people are eating rice with gravy and maybe some are just going hungry, skip meals. It is a concerning trend.
EPF invest our hard earned money wisely. Have a good weekend all. Embrace for GST. I still cannot understand the implications of this for share investor. Every transaction charged 6%?
