Bigbull99 Let's go to RM3 tomorrow or next week. Who knows behind this push could be KYY coming back to this gem stock. Wen Jun buy call warrants issued by banks. Keep it until June next year and watch your return skyrocket if mother reach rm3.50. I collected a lot a lot of CN at 12-14 sen and see where it is now.

Bigbull99 wen jun i think it all depends on your risk appetite. WA is too exp. you have to monitor closely on those warrants and see which warrant have lesser premium and latest expiry date.

Vzhai.. bank doesnt use the closing price on 25th. They will use 5 day vwap. Most likely lower if it closes at high of 330.

Bank will pay (5 day vwap - 2.65)/3.5

For example if VWAP is 3.17 :

each warrant pays : (3.17-2.65) x 1/3.5 = RM0.148 (1 lot = RM14.80)

vwap = volume weighted average price, not so easy to calculate. 3.17 is a ballpark minimum im using

I think coming quarter results in May for Q1 will be pivotal. Definitely wont expect a higher QoQ. perhaps TF will cushion the marginally weaker earnings with the conclusion on AAC sale.

If price stays above 3.17 till maturity, C38 minimum payout is 0.15 per warrant.

If you're not confident AA will stay >3.17 till next friday, dont bother looking at c38.

Offloaded my C38. Good >50% profit within 2.5 months.

Looking at C47. Seems attractive with lowest premium and longest maturity period.

Could be true that he wants the commision. Possible that transaction costs involved. Check with you bank. I never held till maturity before. Sorry I wouldn't know.

This is a structured warrant. Issuer will settle in cash, check with your remisier on how it is settled (cheque or trading a/c). Settlement formula is in the term sheet issued by bank.

Here is a guide for you. If you buy C38 at 12 cents. You need to be confident AA stays above 3.07 until next Friday. That is if you intend to hold until maturity. For trading purposes trade at your own risk.

Shale average breakeven is 50. Each time oil goes past 50 shale producers will start flooding the market with more oil.

by the time the news comes out you are too late.

Sell on news.

Company like AA need to hold to see decent returns. For a large cap company the volatility is high. Takes a mountain to move 1-2 sen. But when it moves, it really moves. Mind you EPF average price for 1.5m shares on 29 March is higher than current price.

At least until major development or bad news comes to light, dumb dumb hold wont go wrong. But if you're planning to hold till 3.20-3.30 dont bother looking. Not a buy or sell call.
