yes these syndicates/operators are not bound legally on their "calls". after all they clearly indicated "buy or sell at your own risk" clause. its just a matter of ethics when you have self intention to deceive people for your own gain. yes, u cant blame them. but such money you earn in such dubious ways, you will one day reap what you sow.

well, perhaps one should track the blog posts of other counters of this bloggers. take bones for example. check out his blog post and compare it with that particular counter price chart movement history, then draw your own conclusions. another classic example is KYY, try to spot the dates of his coverage and "exposure" and "noble intentions", spot when he start to accumulate silently and disposed silently versus the price movement and announcement to bursa when he ceased to be substantial shareholders or so. case study: Jayatiasa, Mudajaya, VS, Latitud. the forum is full of poeple with their own personal agenda. dun take wholely whatever "info" you get here.

will JHM continue its momentum? coz many have accumulated at 44 cents range few months back. when it draw attention, probably the big players will dispose and lock profit while all ikan bilis who follow chart and "momentum" will get trapped.

conclusion: dun trust everything u read in i3investor forum. especially when suddenly all the spotlights such as bloggers coverage, artificial surge in volume, keyboard warriors and spinners are "coincidentally" on a counter at the same time. SGB.... just like many classic examples recently like XOX, is a pump and dump modus operandi by syndicates.

thanks for the great write up. but IMHO a great investor is one who can identify this situation more than few months back and entered the counters which has advantage of stronger ringgit at that time when the majority was chasing after "full valued" glove counters/export theme stocks

although still post good results, but it was "below expectation of many" (probably explain why the dip of few cents upon early trade this morning after the flowery situation painted by the few blog reviews out of nowhere). and I feel you need quite a lot of capital to stock up in goods to operate convenience store. and from their vast location across the nation, logistics and distribution will eat up the margin. and some items might be slow moving. and at the moment, they can get a bargain price for the supplies as opposed to hypermarkets whereby they get in bulk. i dun think this diversification will bring positive momentum to the group earnings. IMHO

personally I dun think convenience store business has demand in malaysia. for myself, I couldn't recall when I stepped into 7-11. maybe just to get a can of coke or ice cream only in this hot weather. hehe... furthermore, malaysian culture is not like so rushing and hectic like those in HK and Japan whereby they really have no time to eat, and will grab anything on the go.

30sens cash will act as buffer to sustain business operations should the revenue cannot cover its operating expenses (margin of safety for potential loss making quarters). dun assume the 30sens belongs to you as a shareholder (since Mmode has no generous dividend payout track record, neither do they have any future plans of M&A for business expansion)

probably its another XOX pump and dump scheme in the making.
