Jackson Yuen, share the same feeling as you, using a conservative PER of 10, the fair value at the moment is around RM1.50+. anything higher will need volume from operators to push it higher. nevertheless the chart looks interesting and bullish uptrend.

in the near short term can challenge RM1.70 zone if the momentum and buying interest is there. the 10cents dividends acts as a cushion also. anyway, I locked profit at RM1.49 psychological mark. all the best to those who are staying on :)

PETALING JAYA: Supermax Corp Bhd has clarified that the previous court case involving its senior executive has no operational or financial impact on the group.

Supermax was responding to a business weekly report highlighting concerns over the group's contact lens business given that the High Court of Singapore had ruled that its senior executive Ting Chong Chai cannot use spincasting technology to manufacturer contract lens following the dispute with his former company.

Supermax stressed that the court did not grant a permanent injunction to restrain Ting from using the spincasting technology and the injunction will expire in coming October.

Moreover, the glove manufacturer said the spincasting technology is very manual and labour intensive whereas the cast moulding technology utilized by Supermax's SuperVision Optimax Sdn Bhd (SVO) is highly automated and operated by robotic mechanism.

"The technology employed in SVO's production process is completely different from the much older technology referred to in the article and it comes from cutting-edge machinery and equipment acquired from Europe," it explained.
