Cannot try to predict future movement based on historical data...because last time, the retail was dominated by uncles and aunties who go for "brand".....now you have a group of young, savvy and more educated.....who knows more about fundamental and valuation....it's a totally new ball game.

Wow....before 2Q21 is out, it already hit above tolle target....santa claus is coming to town...for tolle...and early this year.

...but I am very sad...just loaded about 20% of my allocation for this round...missed the boat :(

Just to elaborate...... With RM8170, you can get 1000 units MBB today, but if PBB, you get 2073 units. So at the moment, it will be more worthwhile to buy PBB.

Haha....poor mathematics....

With RM8170 you get 1000 MBB...MBB pays 52 sen last year and 64 sen the previous year...so you will probably get 520 to 640.

PBB used to pay about 70 sen before bonus issue....meaning they will now pay about 14 sen.....with 2073 shares, you will get 290.

Is 290 the same as 520....haha.

with this kind of poor maths...how to invest in shares...haha :)

At this prices, i think buying PBB is better than MBB at current prices.

I am buying for it's dividend....PBB pays about 50% less...

MBB yields at 6-7%....PBB only yields 3-4%

@tolle...I also missed the boat at 8.00...managed to buy a litte at 8.09/10 on Thursday :(

Yes, I think now need to wait for 2Q21 report...if dividend is declared..then will buy what ever price with my balance allocation....guess will probably need to pay a lot more :(

If both MBB and PBB declare dividend, then the difference will be wider, I guess...

1) The 2Q21 report, will banks declare dividend or not. Last year many didn't for 2nd Q.

2) The direction of new cabinet on moratorium interest.

I queued 8.10 last night, this morning locked in at 9.05 am, already matched...lowest was 8.06..bid at 8.08/09....I add Q at 8.07...then went out...came back...not matched...then add at 8.09 and 8.08...

....8.09 matched already...now still waiting at 8.08 n 8.07 :)

...luckily yesterday didn't add ...haha :)

I only know this recently when I keyed in 6000 lots of Mahsing to sell and the system indicated that the maximum allowed is only 5000, so I did 2 Q.

Below 500k easy, can do one queue....above that you need to do multiple Q....cos maximum for each Q is only 5000 lots or 500k shares.

Yes, that's correct....last time I did it during pre opening at 2 pm

....will have more time to cancel...pre closing it's too risky due to shorter duration...you know in 2013 the wifi is not so stable.

Yes I can queue to sell the quantity at a specific price during pre opening....I did this before in KSL forum in 2013
