I agreed with IMF_HAU, never trust any news or target price. I look for chart. it already show bad sign, I rather wait to see first instead of jumping in because of news.
Hooi is smart investor and he has a lot of cash. So he can play slowly accumulation. But I am not, so I rather wait for see first

Just wondering why they need to do this? price no change, no capital repayment even after par value reduce 90%. I think when dividend payout in future, will be base on 0.10 par value. Or i think this is one of the way they make money where soft saving and generate profit through par value reduction. Sure next result will continue to be profit, given wrong perception.

Allianz net cash = 511,892,000 while LPI = 415,424,000 (Allianz better)

One thing LPI better than Allianz is the ROE/DTER where LPI = 12.6% while Allianz only 2.02.

My conclusion is holding Allianz is worth

actually.... actually, it's really hard for me to convince myself to buy at 1.48 or 1.49 because the immediate resistance is at 1.52 and furthermore then downtrend resistance at also somewhere at 1.50 ` 1.52.
I was about to press button to buy 10,000 share first but my rational tell me not the right time. So i pull back. Anyway, I wish you all profit a lot.
