@jackson1688888 I guess it's better to value PBA with how much dividend they are paying out. If they can pay out half of their earning (15sen per share), it should be able to command a PE higher than 10.

I seen PBA revenue was quite stagnant from 2015 to 2022 (~330M). PBA wasn't allowed to raise tariff for that 7 years? Now new ruling allows them to raise tariff every 3 years?

After giving up glove business last quarter, their performance improved immediately.

Ada positive PE means cannot be 5 quarters operating loss? You need more accounting knowledge bro.

For the past 5 consecutive quarters, Intco has been making operating loss. This is the fact. https://www.tradingview.com/symbols/SZSE-300677/financials-income-statement/

Many has thought that China glove makers are doing very well, but in fact if you study their largest glove producer, Intco's financial result, you can see that even they themselves are barely making any profits although at a very high utilisation rate. This is because they are trying to suppress the opponent with cutting throat price and trying to win the market share this way. Therefore, now we are seeing who are the more efficient glove maker with good cost control. Sooner or later, ASP has to go up or else Intco themselves can continue to eat wind.

Intco, the largest glove producer in China, barely making any profit with such pricing. Bluesail is even worse and is making losses. Let's see how long they can depress the market with such move.

Everybody knows that China is 'throwing' price since 2 years back. You still need Supermax to tell you?

Intco has been registering 5 consecutive operating loss even though having almost 100% utilisation rate. Harta is doing way better than them even though utlisation rate is below 50%. Therefore, once Intco wanted to have a better earning, ASP will have to go up and with that, Harta will do even better. So be patient guys.

Based on the analyst briefing, 0.6b gloves shipping was delayed in the latest quarter. Barring this shipping delay, total sales volume would be 5.1b. This means sales volume has been going up for the past 3 quarters (4.3/4.6/5.1). With the rising demand and better cost control, worst is already over. Once ASP starts to rise, we will see huge EPS rise in coming quarters.

Buy and hold till next CNY, then you get a super big angpow

Try to read the past few quarterly reports, you will notice Harta has never been so upbeat towards the upcoming months.

It's not the cars that are having problem, just the test not done according to standard. So I think Perodua business will continue as usual.

The big 3 glove companies all shown that worst is over with improving sales volume and revenue. This is most important because buying now has limited downside but offering huge upside.

With 5G now under DNB, it's a totally different playing field for YES.
2023-09-07 13:17 | Report Abuse
I think YES has high potential due to implementation of 5g by DNB. The playing field has become more open not like last time. In fact, YES has very good offer for home 5G internet and pre/postpaid line for mobile too.

In investing, the only question we need to answer is whether the company can continue to make more money and pay more dividend in the future. The rest are just noise.

@dragon328,
Do you mind to share why YTLPower profit dropped so much since 2017? YTLP had been earning RM1B yearly before 2017 but dropped almost 40-50% ever since. I am not very familiar with its history.

Sembcorp after dropping 9% yesterday, it already recovered more than half (up 4.47%) as of now. YTLPower has lesser impact than Sembcorp, so the price recovery can be even greater.

Dragon328,
If YTLPower were to make RM3B-4B a year, that's like RM0.50 per share! At RM1.2, i think is a crazy bargain.
