I think it's important to understand who is the price leader in Malaysia and the world, which is the one with the lowest cost of production especially when it is a buyer's market now. Unfortunately, this is not TopGlove. so if the leader wants to do it, he can sell at a price where he is mildly profitable or breakeven, but competition is all losing money.
The industry will undergo a consolidation where the less efficient players will die out or be forced to close. The strongest will survive and grow leaps and bounds.
LearnEveryday, you're welcome. Stockraider, unfortunately I won't be able to because i3 doesn't support me sharing my notes here for various reasons such as getting spammed down, technical limitations, and so on.
For anyone else interested in reading my notes >for free<, just drop me a PM and I'll share the link to my article with you.
I attended the AGM and made some comprehensive notes from the session. It was a nearly 2+hour long session, with quite a lot of insights. I upload it to my usual place. If anyone wants to read, drop me a PM. For those who have PM'ed me before, you know where to find it :)
Profit and margins increasing Quarter on Quarter? Can this be true? I analyze supermax's quarter result in my article. PM me to read for free! Unfortunately i3 doesn't allow me to share it here so I host it elsewhere.... and can't share the link here either unless you PM me.
highly recommend to go to other forums for more fruitful discussions or just don't see this place... Over at S t0ckb1t (unfortunately i3 will delete the post if I write the full name) they have discussed in a more meaningful manner about the cash, capacities, planned productions, margins, ASPs, FDA status of various glove players such as harta, kossan, sri trang, intco and many others.
to get direct updates on the EGM, Search for s..t0--ck....bit ... for those who want info, can PM me to get the link to my coverage. unfortunately i3 bans sharing of links to other platforms who discusses these topics in more depth
Harta's QR will be announced tomorrow, 9/8. Many people think it will be between RM 50-150mil profit after tax. What do you think it will be? PM me to join the rest of the discussion for more knowledge sharing.
Again, I would encourage people to have a more meaningful discussion on harta at separate platforms rather than i3, as this place is filled with toxicity (although there are some good people here and there). PM me if you are interested in better quality discussions on the whole industry, or other stocks and so on
For some it may be a surprise, but for those who have been following the company, it's expected. below 60sen was really such a steal. I've been covering PTRANS in depth for 2-3 years already, so if anyone wants to read my notes when I last met up with Jennifer and Dato Cheong, and spoke to the management team, feel free to PM me.
Anxious, I would recommend you to spend less time in toxic places and less time looking at share prices, but learn about the REAL company fundamentals, especially since you are saying that you want to "invest" and "hold" a stock for the long term.
If you are interested in a more healthy discussion, feel free to PM me.
MFCB is one of the most transparent and well managed companies in the whole of bursa malaysia. Ignoring share price movement (which has been static since 2021 mostly, with some volume coming in only lately), business is running on all cylinders.
2 months ago we did an interview with MFCB management which was hosted live. It dragged on for over 2 hours as Mr Yeow was so passionate in sharing about the business, their plans, prospects, challenges, and how they're overcoming it. Unfortunately, i3 does not allow me to share my notes, so for whoever is interested maybe can PM me.
