Contra means buying shares but never pay money to pick up, sell by T+2 days before a fixed time set by the broker. Usually if sell on T3, the extra one day has to pay interest loh.

IMHO. For this bb, as long as it doesn't tumble (assuming this will not happen, yes, we know what r they planning to), it will be good for the whole market sentiment and Johor development, a d good for other penny stocks, on rotational plays in near terms and creating a mini bull mkt and good for the people in the next 4yrs, political stability, advance technology ahead for our beloved country, long overdued paperless idea such as einvoicing would help the country to generate more income, which is good for our upcoming budgets and good for Malaysia and the people. Hope the plans work well.

KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 30): The land acquisition process for the Mass Rapid Transit 3 (MRT3) Circle Line project is expected to be completed in two years, according to Mass Rapid Transit Corp Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp) chief executive officer Datuk Mohd Zarif Hashim.

Speaking to the media after unveiling the TTDI-Deloitte MRT Station, Zarif said that MRT Corp is currently focusing on the land acquisition process, which involves over 1,000 lots of land, the majority of which are private lots.

As for the MRT3 tender process, Zarif said that it will depend on what the government decides.

IMHO.

Any solid data to prove that the total number of passengers travel in between KLSG per hour or per day? Unlike RTS, total number of passengers r having data to analyze as they r travelling daily.

I personally like the idea of RTS, which will be completed by end of 2026 (2more years to go). And, with RTS, next solid one will be LRT, within JB and covers Kulai also (Kulai property mkt is hot now and pricing r going up), these r part of IDR development. And, it is very realistic. Cost to
build LRT systems? And total number of passengers travelled per day, per week, per month using LRT? And how many months and years to cover cost, maintenance cost per day per month per year... and so on.

IMHO, my personal opinion, RTS+LRT is the most important for Johor development in near term (next 5 yrs 10yrs 20yrs). HSR burden is jialat... Although it is a must and good to have... But volume (passengers) and fare amount r still unknown, how long to enjoy ROIs and % to gain? After how many years? Oh, with HSR, any impact on airlines business? local airlines fly btw KLSG how oh? 😵😵😵

With 6% dividend for 5yrs, if share price 0.100@ 6% return. 30% in 5yrs. But stuck at 0.20 with 50% downside to 0.10 errr. But ok, if it will run up in next 2yrs.... Hihihi

IMHO.
For near term, RTS is still our main focus. RTS which links from JB to Woodlands North (4km). So the next immediate action to highlight is the LRT ? HSR is too high cost and still have a lot of things to iron out and settle and a long journey if compare to LRT in JB local area only. If this idea works, meaning, next, is 1589 & 8877 & 5148 going to have some boost power.... (Landbanks). So, IBs r lining up something for this to cook in the near future, at least coming months later, or next year? Hmmm. IDK.

Hopefully those undervalued stocks which had a good run up in recent weeks can have a break, as HSR project still contains a lot of uncertainties. For now, OPs r playing and pushing based on the hope who (which consortium) will win, this and that. So, if after winning, project deliverables? Delay? Passengers volume? Breakeven? How many years? Huge capital, but ROI takes few decades to realized, a real damn long term investment. And capital spent for HSR, still have enough cash flow for other projects? Now let the mkt hot hot awhile, but when is the time to cool down and take a break to think, to plan, before taking further actions? My2c

As long as these companies share prices don't tumble, mild consolidations r good for mid long-term before the next surge. With HSR RFI to RFP still need time to decide, bidding tender process still otw, as long as these news r not firmed up and announced who is the winner, they can still line up to play rotationally. But, the good thing is land banks, RNAV otw is good for the land banks giant to have better upside surge..... Lands..... My 2c.
