Even at RM5000 per tonnes all planters will still make good profit and planttions are still the safest bet in Bursa right now

Previously those hardcore promoters crying for buy when it was around 7 luckily I sold off 90% of my holding between 6.70 to 7.00. What they missed is the Co large amount of esos and of course the higher cost of production. Having said that if CPO remains at 4500 to 5000 throughout 2022 (which I believe it will) it is still a good investment. My TP now is 6.50 cum bonus even for this price the remaining esos should be at minimum level and the Co does not issue further esos for subscription below 5.00

Public IB downgraded Taan to TP 5.19 no wonder most of their unit trust funds pay less than 2 sen annually hehe

The ban on export by Indonesia will certainly be lifted as announced earlier by its President and would be lifted by May 23 but this is largely accounted for counters like KLK IOI and Sime Plant are highly recommended stocks by HL IB. Foreign funds could have snapped up Sime plant despite heave selling by EPF. Btw no one recomnend SOP despite an above average planters so the reasons are obvious. Even the previous promoters are keeping quiet except KYY

Except for cukai makmur or forward selling and not spor price otherwise no negative things

It is irrelevant whether CPO has peaked or not we should look at the likely CPO price for the next 12 months and I can confidently say it will not go down below RM4500 per tonne. The problem with SOP is there are too many esos for the executives and they are priced below 3.60 profit taking are bound to happen when they are listed. Just look at KLK IOI and Sime Plant they are all green today despite more than 1000 pts fall in Dow Jones. Having said that if you are looking for a yield of around 6 to 7 % and some small capital appreciation this is the counter for you no BS but don't expect RM10 lah !

Ringgit further weakened against the USD good for palm oil exporter oil palm industries will remain strong for the next 2 years I don't BS but give positive inputs when there is haha

All plantations went up quite substantially except the two best managed ones SOP and Taan you know why ar hehe

Looks like the price movement is influenced by the CPO futures and those traders are erroneously wrong to base their trade on CPO futures. Mind you spot CPO prices are going to stay around RM4500 to RM5500 for at least 18 months and at this level even the most inefficient planters would also register fantastic profits just keep buying a moderate amount at this level and you could be very much richer by next year no BS

Hahaha even Cepatwawasan an average planters also report more than 100% in profits think for yourselves what would be the figure for a good plantation co like SOP ? Hopefully there will also be a good interim dividend along with the announcement of the 1st qtr results and also the bonus entitlement date

Just accumulate until the annoucement of the 1st qtr results and bonus announcement on its ex date

@ Yau Yh there is a world of difference between gloves and palm oil. For a start CPO price of RM4K to RM5K per tonne is going to stay for at least 1.5 yrs which means all plantations will record super profit throughout 2022 and beyond. Secondly the barrier of entry to gloves making is very low and start up time is very short too while it takes at least 6 yrs for oil palm to mature. Having say that I am not asking you to buy at 10.00 but take this opportunity to accumulate some at the current price which I consider is seriously undervalued. The selling could be done by the esos holders and IBs manipulation bcoz of the call warrants issued by them. Once the esos holders finished the selling the stock will rebound back to at least 6.50 maybe around 7.00 when the bonus ex date is announced. The rebounce can be as soon as tomorrow no BS !

Actually even if CPO price is 4.50 K to 5 K per tonne plantations will still reap in enormous profit and this can last for a year at least so fear not kawan2 but don't wait until 12.00 la hehe

I would think the 6 sen final dividend is for FY ending 2021. The 1st qtr FY2022 result will be announced in the coming weeks which should be the all time high and possibly a first interim dividend would also be in the pipeline we would evaluate after this

When oppottunity presents itself noboby wants but later when it goes up you flers chase after it. A good investors must know how to be a contrarian investment in plantations will never go wrong in the next 9 months or so but don't go and buy at 10.00 la some say it will go to 12.00 then 15.00 hahaha

As I said earlier plantation stocks are most betable ones bcoz high price is going to stay here for a while but don't expect 12.00 la hehe
