When 4.20 is broken reload more bullets !

Plantations especially oil palm are cyclical. It is indeed a good defensive stocks to keep when the market turns ugly. Stock selection is the key word. Among the oil palm plantations SOP is one of the best choice but unfortunately when big funds see the Co. CEO has been selling his company shares agressively bcoz of large qty of esos he was given it does not give confidence to investors and compounded by low dividend yield this stock has not attracted big fund to come in a big way. Having said that when the price is closer to the esos excercise price it is definitely a good pick.

Closer to 4.00 even better coz not much gain for esos flers so no big dumping at this price and manipulators will also hilang hihi. But can tembak sikit at 4.30

Actually this stock does not attract big funds to buy only big manipulators to toy around taking advantage of the pressure from esos sellers

I really donno how many esos shares excercised, listed but still not sold yet. When the cheap esos shares have dried up then probably it can move up bcoz SOP is the cheapest plantation stock in bursa now

Average price for SOP in 2022 should exceed RM5K EPS should be around RM1. Going forward into 2023 CPO price will dip to RM4500 and SOP should still enjoy single digit PE for the next 3 yrs so do not worry la bro but I do really hope a higher dividend would be forthcoming

Not all stocks suffered the same fate bro. SOP is really cheap now can keep for long term now hope they can give some decent dividend tats all I am asking for

The only regretable part is the low div it gives out despite earning 34 sen a qtr. I will see after the 2nd qtr results if they still give out 5 or 6 sen div I will give it all to them for shiok sendiri play

You could be right mrcrab. The day you see them buying back is the day you can jump in or else someone will still want to push it down

So don't say dividend is not important bcoz no one has the will power to hold long for not getting anything !

Down 8.3% bukan main kawan. Cut loss to conserve cash to buy at lower level it is ok but cut loss to invest in other stocks or other plantation is a no no bcoz if the whole year the div can come to 20 sen which I think it probably will then you have a yield of above 5% at this price. Then I don't mind hold it for long term as the earnings visibility is still there compared with other stocks in bursa. And when you get another share for every 2 share held later it looks even cheaper. If they can give the same quantum of div you will indirectly gain from it so at this price you can hold long term but I don't discount the possibilities of it falling further from esos and interested parties no BS.

IOI down 3 sen only and and average planters like Sime plant down 12 sen only SOP one of the best drop 46 sen ? hehe

The 6 sen dividend now looks precious but 30 sen is good hehe

Luckily I still have plenty of bullets to spare boleh mari tembak !
