Petrochemical cannot be sunset industry la. 90% of the daily item you use is coming from petrochemical. You wake up in the morning till you go to sleep, you are using products that using petrochemical. All the way from your shower gel, packing, automobile, clothing and even condom has petrochemical in it. How can be sunset leh? Now is really supply more than demand and demand also reduce la. It will takes time for demand to match the supply because it depends on human consumption ma. Human don't born overnight. It takes 9 months and then after come out, you lifelong will be dependent on the petrochemical product and it evolves as you grow. So, it will be slow for the human population to increase but the increase is definite.

Philip, but the most worrisome part is the oversupply and reduce in demand. With the oversupply problem, ie; US & China petrochemical plant coming online, the output will be high. Also, the reduction of plastic usage will add salt to the wound. It might take many years to the demand to catch up. Is just like the steel counter. Local steel counter is suffering due to poor demand and over supply. Furthermore, with the Anta steel in production, it makes this worst. Hope you can share your opinion on this. Thanks.

Alvin, you must be kidding right? Cons bcoz no share buyback or dividend? Thankful that u r not on the board of director or consultant. With so many opportunity ahead, the money is better spend to drill more well n exploration. This will create more value for shareholder. By then the share price will raise automatically because you be the 1 doing share buyback.

Not sure how much has been utilised. But if take 3 billion up to 2022, meaning each Q will average do 250million. Revenue is similar to the current quarter and assuming earning about the same as well and with upcoming RI and private placement, the dilution will be 20%. The diluted eps should be around 4.6. Using golden rule, with the current pricing is should be around PE 8.5? Also, one blogger highlighted Dayang project in Turkmenistan.

Looking at the chart in the reuters report, it seems like the average selling price has dropped 20% from January. This is before rapid come online by end of this year, Shell US petrochemical by 1H of next year and China petrochemical by 2H'20? Very similar to steel industry.

Perdana must complete the Debt restructuring before 31st Dec'19. Meaning there is about 4 months for them to announce the RI. Even though it will be fully subscribed if no other shareholder willing to subscribe, but doesn't it dilute the earning and the saving in interest seems meaningless in this exercise. Can anyone enlighten?

Perdana market cap is 253M but intend to raise up to 455M (min) and max of 506m??? meaning 1 perdana share will entitle to be 2 or 3 RI???
