I did a simple calculation, it BDI stays above 2200, it should earn 2 to 2.5c per Q. Not sure is shipping seasonal where it is affected by monsoon. But using golden rule can really earn 8 to 10c per yr leh. PE 8 = 0.80c loh. PE10 = RM1??? Also, this is company has strong management. Robert kuok company leh....but of course he retired la. I think they have managed the company well by keeping the company afloat despite unfavourable rate. So now the wind is on their side and blowing in their direction. Apa lagi tunggu. I jump onboard for the free ride loh......

Maybulk make profit in 2018 but if was a gain from selling off an associate company. The company was loss making and has with a necessary impairment done, they have a clean plate to start off for 2019. So without the lossmaking company, newer ships and great BDI rate, i guess the prospect is good. So long BDI stays above 2200, maybulk will soon turn into maybank.....LOL....carry plenty of cash.

Next QR will be end of Nov which will cover Jul, Aug & Sept which is also the biggest jump in BDI. I think average is above 2000. Last QR which is Apr, May and June, the BDI is on average 1000 only. It is similar to O&G where very much depending on the brent oil and they have a breakeven point. Just like if brent stays above $60, most O&G will report good results. For the past 5 years, the average BDI was below 1200. I think maybulk need at least 1500 to break even. With BDI now above 2400, I think maybulk will report good profit. Rough calculation, with the current BDI price, i think maybulk will report an eps of 2 to 2,5c. So annually it will be eps 8 to 10c. with PE 10, 0.80 to RM1???? Any taker? ...heheh....i taken small position la. Need to go thru the annual report 1st as I notice there is 1 huge impairment in 2018. They are cleaning up the business and account......which is a good thing.

RM1 is really the resistance. Hit 0.995, then been sold down. IB die die want to keep it below RM1 kua. It will be exciting if it break RM1. Then every bid will be 0.01c rather than 0.005. Anyway, it already considers good performance for the last 2 days. Break RM1 is a bonus.....hehe

Kossan has 30% latex vs 70% nitrile production. USD also strengthen where last Q they use 4.14 and now should be 4.20? So in terms of selling price and forex gain, it should be positive for next QR.
