The wiiner is the one who bought at the lower prices thhan other buyers.. so if we sell at same price, u get more, if u didnt sell, ur dividend yield is better than those who bought at a higher price

dont sapu, cos if it goes to 7.80 , then sapu .. this is just appetizer price.. if no big drop, well keep the cash for other oppurtunities.

now PBB every day 20 mil or about 5 mil old price comes to around RM100 mil aday while MBB is only 4 mil x RM8=32 mil , most being epf sell to epf crony.. so actual trade in mbb maybe only a few mils per day

I can safely say, after the rundown, PBB will rise again , if the qtr report in a few weeks, shows good profitability

stkoay: PBB vs MBB; the difference is, in my opinion, PBB oversold cos of foreign been duped by EPF during the runup and BI where it was around RM25~ and i assume 50% were interrelated with EPF, so foreigners were caught in the hype, Now with ringgit at 4.20 and the infra and tech in US upped, the funds are taking a hit ( also helped by epf/politicss to lower the price) , so funds exiting are willing to sell lower to exit malaysia.

Even if u did buy at 3.95 u can sell even if goes up to 4.08 or about , and ur buying volume must be big in order to see any profit. Certainly not work sprnding 100k and only get a few k profit ( which is not even guranteed, might drop more)

EPF/Kwap/TH/Malaysia Funds will not support or pust the price up at this moment. Know why? It is because the foreign funds are exiting and it would not economic sense to collect daily volume of 20 mils by pushing it up. Best option is to sell and push price down and make it a buyers market, so the foreign funds are forced to sell at a loss.

Then all the local funds will mop up these shares and wait for sometime. When they are sure not many foreign sellers, they will bring the price up very easily by spending less money and the get better yield eventually with cap growth.

So buy small and collect for at least a yera or more, else dont buy , just sell and keep ur money in fixed deposit and buy two yrs later.

Consider the reserve cash ( which u dont need to use for medium term) and standby ONLY it there is a big drop.

Sorry i cant sapu as i am already fully loaded and my usable spare are only 10-15 % and I am not taking money out of my fixed price unit trust although i can feel it will be at least 4%.

And i want to have diversified sources of income as is my principle.

Even MBB carries a risk, possible but not probable.

Everybody must understand, investment need time, in years, GAMBLING need no time and it is just going to Genting to double up or lose all. If u are above 50, i honest advice is dont GAMBLE as u wont be able to earn back whatever you lose, so be cautious and paly with money you can afford to lose.

Bursa or klse has a some 30 something shares which it considers the heart of klse.
Maybank, petronas, public bank eetc and latest if i am not mistaken is DIY..

The set a number at a predetermined price and monitors it and if the sum of those shares price increases the index will increase, and if the total sum of prices drops, the index drops too, so it is a bench mark to see the performance of bursa.

SO when index drops , it means , most of the share price are dropping, and there is probably a major event, like now malaysian p[olitics is unstable or weak.

And it many other factors may contribute to share prices going up or down.

The above is just or ordinary people to understand, just a simple version.

Pls google and read up BEFORE you invest, and dont listen to any medicine man and tips , as you may lose ur money. Always consult your broker or remiser or consult a registered professional before making any financial decision.

8.11 is quite high , add more at this price, Get ready more cash and add more the lower it gets, BUT make sure you average lower and you do have reserve cash and dont sell out for at least a year or two.....or if u feel u are making a mistak, talk to your broker and set a stop loss at 7.50 ( just in case). But i dont do that cos i intend to hold it for long term, IF MBB sinks, bursa also sinks, and Ringgit also no value.

Also make sure u allocate some USD & SGD markets esp singapore riets, bit by bit... diversity is important

nowIF i have extra budget i will buy at RM8 today , but i am fully loaded with my self imposed quota

so even if PBB drops a few sen also , and MBB goes up by 1 sen, my portfolio is green and shows increased value, in other words , 1 sen increase is equivalen to 3 sen drop by PBB
and dividend also is better with MBB

compared to PBB and MBB , or RHB, i will buy MBB anytime, as my value ratio MBB to PBB is 80:20

Malaysia got problem... so buy now or later depends... problems are:
1.political stability , no strength leaders
2. Covid lockdown ( not factored in banking sector)
3. lower growth , as other industries are affected, so banks also
4. banks may not pay dividend or if pay also lower quantum cos want to conserve cash for future weakend quaters
5.even if this dividend is good, BUT fund managers will NOT buy cos share price is propotional to FUTURE earnings... so most big funds will wait and see and let share price drift lower

If i want to buy, i will buy staggered, or cost averaging. buy portion by portion,, so if price drop also can average better price than ur neighbour and u have first strike to sell and profit more than me
