no matter what shares u own, like to share this for perspective;

If u own 1000 shares very 1 sen u gain RM10

If u own 10,000 shares very 1 sen u gain RM100

If u own 100,000 shares very 1 sen u gain RM1000

If u own 1.000,000 mil shares, every 1 sen gain....u probably gain RM0,

because u are probably a fund manager and the profit doesnt belong to u and wont be credited into ur personal account like ours do!!!

Learning from yesterdays's purchases, I learned NOT to trust major sellers selling off on fears, IF I think the price is right, just buy, cant go wrong much. And do not i have stated i would buy if around RM8 when the price was at 8.20++. SO it was a planned top up. ( Later if price goes below 7.80, dont blame me, but i will top up a bit more then, AND in AUG get the 20+ sen dividend.)

if 10k u lose 3 k.. and capital appriaciation is not guranteed to offset, as bob has indicated that some of his tickets are not in the green. That also with the bull run, imagine if we were in a bear market ( very possible the moment changes fed policy)

Lose about 30% the moment they declare divvy.. but possible to sell before the dividend ex date.. so as NOT to pay the witholding tax?.. like our bursa ex date before price adjustment.. is there any way to go about it?.. i heard if registered in Ireland can be about 20%.. but stiil lose.

CSLee: i am just normal only, others here are doing very much better but they keep quiet and I hope they share their wisdom, so we can learn from the sifus here.

And one more thing, just investing in msia is NOT good enough, and I am slowly venturing outside of this country. Many here has already ventured out to Singapore and US markets. And with the latest development , I will try to try small small direct invest in overseas marts. I had a friend who started overseas mart etc and he is has mads lots of money. So hope u guys venture out and start slowly and carefully branch overseas cos i feel msia mart is too inefficient but my keyword is safety and stability and sustainability will be my guide.

PS:I am on robo adviser and the returns are not too braggable and fluctuates within a range which is not to my liking. I will soon liquidate it and invest direct BUT these seems to be witholding taxes and stuff which needs to be studied first.

PBB and mBB ur wake up months later u dont get heart attack.. u may even be given reward like in August u get 25 sen DRIP and PBB gives u 6 sen dividend , per share

so if ur price can buy je, else i feel still expensive cos opr might cut then i gamble, if i dont buy now maybe i buy when 8.10 cos confirmed no opr cut. This is my way, no right or wrong. Use ur own judgement and DO IT.

buy je can, buy 8.50 also can, buy 9.00 also can, if je.. if want to get best bang for the buck mesti ada kesabaran and nasib (luck).

lee: All my available money already invested in diversified fields. 3% in US thru robo and 50% in stable income deposits , about 6 to 7% annually. 30% in bursa and 10% available for fun trades. Even if these was a crash, i will be stable without having to sell off any assets and ride it out with the cash option, Just sharing. My account is based on per 10k blocks, as i have more spare money i just invest i that ration. I will do this formula with 10k, 100k or 1mil. .. as i was burned and lost all when i young. so this is for old man like me.. not suitable for youngsters mid aged and retirees, as their risk levels are all different.
Mine is designed for stable income and growth , in the event i kick the bucket early and family is taken care of without any major changes . I am not in the financial field and many of my friends have better designed layout. Cash is not a good option as it wil be used up fast and mismanaged and easily parted.

And this does not include ur lands and building, which is a separate issue and involves long term investment and i do not flip properties. I buy for keeps as interest and maintenance and misc, so different class of its own headache.

8.08: ok.. my view is NOT to top up too soon, price difference must be about 2% lower so that ur av goes down, UNLESS ur are not fully fulfilled ur quota at this point,
there is always a BUT, but if u feel this price is the lowest then u can topup.

Just my view only. The people who lose are those who panic buiy and panic sell and IF buy goreng stock. PBB & MBB & HLFG and RHB are growth and div stock, so not much worries and only drops little and most cases bounces back early.

Just a note , it is not how much money u have but what direction and rate u are growing it, BUT more money grows faster and also more money drops faster too, so go easy on urself,
