It is normal for businessman to prop up the price before they sell their share. there is no news but yet the price move. naive investors should learn their lesson. invest for long term

I guess there is no point to use hindsight bias to comment on a company action. Their actions were based on that situation. Nobody will know how fast the vaccine can be produce or the demand for glove will subside. However, one thing for sure is that they have achieve remarkable growth story especially for a local business with minimal international visibility.

One of my worst decision made for investing in this counter due to lack of due diligence in this company.

Interesting to note is that from their opening to end of June 2021, in 6 days, their revenue is about 15.9mil usd or RM 61mil or RM 10mil per day. If extrapolated to a year, that is about RM 3.7bil. With EBITDA of around 26%, this can easily contribute RM 1bil profit to the company annually during Covid-19 period.

Always have faith with the genting group.

The fact that they raised money through issuing shares as well as esos(diluting shareholder ownership), high start up cost (hard to achieve good return on the first year), increasing competition, lack of channel to distribute their glove will ultimately affect their profitability and capacity utilisation (cant expect them to sell all they produce right?.

I guess we must always understand that demand and supply will always back to equilibrium. So, when there is oversupply, the weak players will be flushed out. Only the strongest survive which i believe topglove mostly likely will stay and get to buy cheap assets at low price.

There is a bonus issue by the company, so the share price divide by 2. Usually, there will be sell off after bonus issue as some shareholders will lock in profit, etc. However, if you have faith in the company, you can buy on weakness. VS in my point of view is a solid company. Good management, strong fundamental, expanding ,etc.

1. hong kong ipo
2. result for q1 and dividend (coming soon)
3. removal of ban from US
4. closing of short position (have 1 year expiry date)

However, it is up to your risk appetite. If cant take the risk and volatility, should cut loss.
