In last Friday’s Budget speech by Prime Minister Najib Razak, the digital free trade zone (DFTZ) featured prominently. Macquarie Equities Research (MQ Research) wrote a report last night, stating that with Pos Malaysia as the anchor tenant in the first phase of the government’s push for a digital economy, they have a higher possibility of being selected as partner in the bigger second phase, which is expected to be ready in 2019. MQ Research reiterates their Outperform recommendation on Pos Malaysia with a high target price (TP) of RM7.30.

if 51% issue, govt sure can interfere, since govt no problem with that majority stake..

worst case scenario, if no foreign partner, govt will hold proton 80% through the RM1.5bil loan given. LOL..
