having said so, PetronM CWs do display the characteristics mentioned

Petron CB & CC was settled in money & the new issues are showing the characteristics.

There is a short cut to screening a safe CW to play based on historical data with the high probability of making money.

The catch are as followings, if you look back on all the CWs issued, look for these parameters :-

1) Strike price.....if the strike price getting higher & higher, it is good. It imply underlying is moving higher & higher. If strike price getting lower & lower, avoid at all cost.

2) Ratio....if ratio getting higher & higher, it is good. If ratio getting lower & lower, avoid at all cost.

3) Final settlement - if historically the CWs settled in money & above initial offer price, it is good. If most of the CWs settled 0 value....avoid at all cost.

The above will imply whether if the underlying is moving in correct direction & not with proven record.

Being optimistic on underlying it not good enough. A tested and successfully tried water level is more important.

At the time of posting, IJM do not display the quality needed for the CWs play.
