@Angus Kuan... It's a historical factor. Within ourselves, we have friends who predicted the price of Barakah will plunge to 1 sen, then half a sen and then to the wilderness. So, staying at this current level, we find it comforting. Stay longer then you will understand us better. Cheers

My take is that the damage is very extensive. It will take 5-6 months for the operations to be running fully. The crude oil price is going to be volatile... right through winter. @Mabel ...Barakah is no longer a Buy & Forget counter. Please upgrade it... Ha ha

As for me, my expectation is that Barakah is due for a correction... an upwards rebound. I am expecting many smiling faces tomorrow. Also, many, many more relieved faces... Cheers to you all.

Barakah issued another Demand Notice against Petronas. Included is a declaration that notice of discontinuance dated March 30 2018 be declared null and void by the court. Couldn't trace this letter. Could this be the first notice on the suspension? Anyone? Thanks

@Mabel.... On Perisai, I will find great personal satisfaction if it is re-listed on January 2, 2020. I always try to be better than the market... Ha ha

Another plus point I have for Perisai & Barakah if compared to Sumatec, is their key shareholders. I find this factor important. Nik did not cash-out of Barakah as compared to Sumatec's key shareholder. Nik just got hit by the banking system. They stay true to their companies.

@Mabel... Perisai, if compared to Barakah is a more distressed PN17 company. It has until year end to regularise its financials or it faces a de-listing. I am confident Perisai, just like Barakah will pull through. Without it's listing status, they will not be able to survive in the O&G industry. Its a highly geared business.

@Ron90...I always find reviving a distress PLC, very exciting. It is filled with exciting news. I, for one believe that the suspension by Petronas will be lifted soon. Strong possibility the crux of their disputes are due to the unauthorised variation works on the ground. Barakah will Never be unlisted...

I have a feeling that Barakah will revisit 2.5 sen... I also find it strange that Nik is helpless in defending a company that he has personally built. The big bikes he owns are worth more than his current shareholdings....

On Sapura... I will be very careful even to consider buying it again. If you were to read about Sapura, prior to its rights I was bullish on its prospect. Its a turnaround company especially with PNB & OMV coming on-board. However, it is the other factors that determine its market price. To me, the market price is still floating.... albeit on a narrow range
